I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this but I'm quite keen to learn about character creation for games, so looking on amazon I came across these two books:

The Game Artist's Guide to Maya (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0782143768/ref=pd_sxp_f/026-9505773-3648457)
by Michael McKinley

Game Character Development with Maya (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/073571438X/ref=pd_sxp_elt_l1/026-9505773-3648457)
by Antony Ward

and was just wondering if anyone had had any experience of them, if they are any good/useful at all?
