View Full Version : Lighting a building.

Okay, i'm trying to create an entire scene of a coffee shop for this company. I have a rough model of everything. Now what i've always had problems with, lighting. They have a hole in the ceiling every 3 feet with a light in it. Well i attemped this and put a point light in each and failed miserably. It looked like crap. I then changed them all to area lights. Still looked like crap. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to light an indoor scene? I know it may be tough because you don't know the actual situation but.... just some tips in general would be great. Thanks =)
