View Full Version : I am having this converting four faces eye problem.

As you can see, i deleted the center poloygons to make it look smooth. However, when i sub-patch it. I get this message saying " only three or four vertics can be converted to sub-patches". I tryed adding poloygons in the blank area but still it doesn't work.

How can i fix this problem?

LW 8 does is not able to subpatch Ngons. Since, what you can do is simple. Follow the animated GIF which shows you two working techniques.

It's little too fast for me to follow. Is there anyway to slow it down?

If you own any Gif Editor you can open it there and visualise each pic separately ;)

I would:

- select the poly
- use the spikey tool (multiply > extend > more > spikey tool)
- fix poles (detail > polygon > more > fix poles)
- select agacent trigons and merge poly (shift z or detail > polygon > merge polys).
