View Full Version : New thread about AE and Combustion

Hi everyone,
There is already a thread about AE vs Combustion.
But Id' like to start a new one about the workflow of those two packages.

I had some training in Flint a couple years ago.
But when I started working in the industry I opted for AE
and I've been using it for about 3 years now. I mostly do motion graphics with it (combined with 3DSMAX)
I believe my workflow is fast, even integrating 3d elements in it.

But recently I've been testing Combustion, and obviously I'm far to reach the same workflow pace than AE.

I'm very impressed by combustion power, but I'm afraid about switching because I'm so used to AE, and at this point I can't really judge if Combustion will allow me to work as fast as AE.

An easy comparaison would be to have two pros working on the same project using the two packages. And see who's faster. (i don't think that will ever happened)

But is there anybody that as experience with both packages, and tell me their opinions.

Thank you.
