View Full Version : Semi-realistic animation set : Classroom.

Hey everyone! I haven't posted here for a while, but I thought I might show you all a set I've been working on for a short animation I'm making.
It's a classroom, (I hope that's obvious) during the daytime.
I've been trying to emulate natural lighting, but I haven't used GI.

Any comments would be much appreciated!

Looks great. Keep working :D

I think you just need to balance the direct/ambient light a bit better i.e. turn up the ambient and tone down the direct.

Looking good for no GI though.

Hey guys.
Thanks for the comments!
IC12: Thank you. I couldn't put my finger on what was making it look slightly odd. I'll try adjusting those lights a little more.

As for the chairs, they're coming!

Ok, so here's an update.

Chairs have been added, including the teacher's.. Lights have been tweaked, less direct, more ambient, and many of textures have been toned down. I also added a clock, essential for every classroom. ;)
