Well, if you ever heard of Tank Girl, Then you probably know Booga.
I'm still busy though, need to make a little adjustment with the feet, but so far it's 4448 tri's. I think I can still clean it up, but I doubt if I'm gonna go any lower than 4400 with this one. And I'm not going to exceed 5000.
Here's one shot and a wire.

So, what do you guys/gals think?

His tail probably has 4x too many polys, those would look great used elsewhere! good progress so far.

I like it... But as mentioned before, a lot of polys in the tail that could be used elsewhere... Also, looking at his hands... They seem to have too many polys in them as well, you could definatly optimize the hands.

The moment I posted the first time I saw the tail was way too much, I went throught that immediately. I went through other stuff, the legs and the hands, and now can definately say it's 3499 tri's, which is much better than the previous count. Almost finished with the UV layout, though I have a feeling I'll probably be tweaking that thing for a long time.
sigh, just wish I had more time to work on him.

Yeah going from the low poly forearm and shins to the higher poly hands...

But the form is looking really good. The head particularly came out nice.
I've always wanted to do a Tank Girl model, good job!

Right, looooong overdue update. 3544 tri's and now busy with a walk cycle, still need to animate his tail, but that's not for this thread.
I'm just posting the finish pics and his 512 diffuse and normal map. I also made an alpha map, but I don't think I really need to show that too, it's just the hair that needed transparancy.
Seeing that this is my very first actual finished game model, please note that I know I probably wasted a lot of space on my maps, so you don't have to tell me about it. I won't waste that much on my Tank Girl model (yet to come).

C&C all you want, I can still make this better.
