Anyone using 5I ‘batch render’? How do you set it up?

It is very simple:
1) go to Vue Application folder
2) click on Batch.exe
3) Batch window opens - everything is explain there
4) Let's suppose you want to render 3 Vue scenes during the night :
(i suggest to use very simple scene names for batch rendering to avoid any typing errors - i usually rename my scenes for batch : 1.vue, 2.vue, 3.vue etc)
5) Make sure your scenes are in Vue/Scenes folder
6) Let's suppose you want to render those scenes in "Superior mode" and 1024 pixels wide
7) Write in lower part of batch window following sequence
aaaa x=1024 Superior
bbbb x=1024 Superior
cccc x=1024 Superior
8) press F9 key and batch starts
Usually it is a good practice to make a "test run" to check if everything was properly set and to get an approximation of rendering time.
To do this just reduce render size by 10 factor :
aaaa x=102 Superior
bbbb x=102 Superior
cccc x=102 Superior
start batch and go take a coffe! :-)
Came back after let say 15 minutes and check if all small pictures were rendered correctly (you will find them in "My Pictures/e-on software/Vue 5 Infinite folder")
You can check pictures creation time to get an idea how long will take rendering of full size pictures. We used 1:100 size pictures for test, so final size pictures will render 100 times longer. While using radiosity it is even quicker and you can assume that time in minutes needed for small pictures will be the same as time in hours for large pictures.
(in case of procedural terrains we have an opposite situation - time is longer)
I hope it was helpful :-)
Everything is explain in batch window - read it carefuly and experiment on small size pictures :-)
