View Full Version : fixing targets

hi all
plz pardon my newbee question. :)
how do i go about to fix the cameras target, say onto a particular point of the terrain, so i can go on moving the camera around without loosing sight of the target ?
(like the default behavior of TerraGen, for example)
thanks in advance

I don't think this is possible. What you can do instead is to take the front part of the camera center line and move that to the point you want to look at.

The work around for this is to setup say a sphere then use the track option on the camera to point to the sphere then hide the sphere from render, you will find you can move the camera but it will still point to where the sphere is.

thanks guys ...
only using vue since a few days, and so far, the only thing slightly
uncomfortable to handle was the camera ...

Good workaround. I forgot about that.

I only find the camera control there a little unprecise to say it defensive.
