Had a question, been trying to rig my model and when I try to goin paint weights, its really really slow and just almost always crashes to the point where im not getting anything done.

what can i do to expidite the process? going back to a low poly mode? kinda lost.

Have you got a lot of unnecessary history on the object? Removing this can speed up painting weights a lot...

Any more details; ie how detailed the mesh is, whether it has blendshape node connected, etc. will help us help you quicker! :thumbsup:

thanks for the help. I figured out a way around it. It's a similar method of what I did to transfer UV data. I duplicated my SubD surface, converted to a low poly version and then made the adjustments there...then when i was done transfered the UV info/weight info to the model.
