Acrobat 7 can display/light/tumble 3D models (even ones with simple animation) but all I've seen so far are CAD models like the ones at http://www.bentley.com/en-us/

It seems to me that such PDFs would be FANTASTIC for modeling portfolios and/or for sending to clients for reviews. Is anyone doing this? Tried it?

Thanks from my sense of curiosity,

Could you post the whole link please?

I did! There are several 3D PDFs on that Bentley front page. If you load them with Acrobat Reader 7 you can grab the model and move it around. It's pretty darned cool... seems to work well on both my old Mac G4 and my newer Wintel machine.

Sorry, hehe  didn't see the links until closer examination.

That is cool and you've got a pretty good idea there...
