into a texture map, based on my UV sets created with the detail from my highest sub-divided model, and the shading, shadows if possible, so i have the option of painting texture over the model in my favourite painting application?
I know how to create a displacement map for use in my 3d prog, but can't seem to figure if I can create out of zbrush just a map with the shading info, with displacements baked in and shadows if this is at all possible.
Its kinda like doing a convert to file texture in maya, but that fails me everytime.

Can anyone help please?

Take a look at zbrushcentral dot com. And search for a free script called material baker. I guess this could help you. Although I must admit, after having tried it out a couple of weeks ago I didn't get it to work for me too well. But I guess I just didn't use it properly.
