View Full Version : Anyone know anything about swift 3D?

I've been trying to render a character I made with swift 3D v3, and can only seem to come up with this mess!

I must be going wrong somewhere, but not too sure of the plugins geometry requirements. eg 4 sided polys, sub patches etc..

Thanks in advance!

thats good for version 3.....Maybe make the jump to version 4. It has advanced modeller and some other real good features. Actually 4.5 is the newest version.

Version 3 is the latest version for Lightwave.

Do you know if it is possible to import lightwave models into version 4.5 standalone?

you can import models as dxf or 3ds, at least until version 4

aahhhh, they title of this thread was misleading. You were referring to the swift plugin. But yes you can import models. Probably better to import in pieces as I think swift will treat it as one big mesh if not. (well depends on what you are bringing in)
