This is a WW2 Japanese Zero. I wanted to do another vehicle for my portfolio. I spent much more time on the texture than the model (which is how I hear it should be). Im still only about a year into 3D so I'm still very much learning. Any comments or crits are greatly appreciated.

I think the model is just about perfect, great job there. The texture layout isn't bad, but you've missed an easy and crucial change that could double your texture detail: mirroring! You used it on the gun and propeller blade, but it would be just fine to use on the wings, fuselage, cockpit (which was mirrored in your actual texture anyways!), fins, just about everywhere. Given the layout your texture looks very nice, maybe a tad dark, but the lack of mirroring is really holding it back!

Holy crap. I don't know why I didn't do that. I think I'll go back and do that to my texture before I shrink it. Thanks for the feedback. Very helpfull.
