modeled with max, rendered with brazil r/s v.2.25.. I´m finishing a textured version that I will post soon... and I will not do a animation... (I believe...)

WOW! Great model and dynamic pose. Only question: Is he supposed to be scared/angry or is he in complete AWE of something he sees? I see the second emotion. Like he is lowering his weapon thinking "Oh my God" at whatever is in his line of sight. Just wondering.

Any case, great job. I aspire to be this good one day. What do you use for references? Who are your inspirations?

Wicked wicked wicked!!!! Just love it, he's missnig teeth? Cant wait to see this textured and moving.

02 February 2002, 08:44 AM

02 February 2002, 02:01 PM
Really cool !

02 February 2002, 02:43 PM
Very cool ...
I like this guy expression. He looks surprised by something he's looking at and ready to lower his gun.
<French_Touch o:Exception culturelle>
</French_Touch o:Exception culturelle>
Like it very much :)

02 February 2002, 02:51 PM
and the image?

02 February 2002, 04:24 PM
Hey guy is amazing this model :)

is a great job, my congratulations. :p

02 February 2002, 05:47 PM
Great character! I like the pose, back against the wall, it seems he was surrounded by aliens and he couldn´t escape.

A ver cómo queda texturizado.

02 February 2002, 07:49 PM
I love it. This is the style that I love. SCi Fi is my butter. Give us more. I would love to see a textured version.

02 February 2002, 07:51 PM
great model, great lights and fantastic poses.

congratulations :) :) :)

02 February 2002, 07:54 PM
ouiais il a lair de bailler ,but i love the scene ,great model and the bal in the floor ,great i hope to see this one texture

02 February 2002, 07:57 PM

02 February 2002, 11:45 PM

02 February 2002, 12:15 AM
Wow! that is fantastic!, love the textures! Are those images or procedural? Is this for the WIP challenge or personal project? Lightwave, Maya, Max? Very nice, I think that you should try to animate it, maybe shooting down some Alien creature after it killed his buddy.

02 February 2002, 12:45 AM
Very very nice. Maybey try to break up the helmet with some different color on the visor. Is there going to be glass for the helmet? When are we going to see him firing the gun?!!! I still want to see teeth too. Just being picky. Excellent work man keep it up.

02 February 2002, 01:19 AM
j'aime manger!! lol

02 February 2002, 02:10 AM
lol, ok !

02 February 2002, 01:54 PM

(I know easy for me to say hehe)

02 February 2002, 02:46 PM
nice model and render!

good luck!

02 February 2002, 02:53 PM
I am in absolute awe. This is quite possibly one of the best things I have ever seen on this forum! The model is absolutely beautiful - I have absolutely no criticsim whatsoever.
Brilliant work!
Absolutely brilliant.

02 February 2002, 04:27 PM
that is top class.

but in the future, do you think we will still be using wastefull bullet cases? And they are a tad large.

I imagine if theres any gun action to be had in the future, it will be with the use of ion beam powered ammo, or caseless gass powered ammo. Or even plastic explosive propelled ammo.

Just a though, top notch work!

02 February 2002, 05:49 PM

02 February 2002, 06:57 PM
yeah i agree with eveyone else its really nice work...but i was wondering (and im sure eveyone else is as well) if we could see some close-ups u know maybe some other angles, but wicked work keep it up

02 February 2002, 03:56 PM
Cool man!

Was Final Fantasy an initial starting point for inspiration? If not what was?

Look forward to the textured version.

02 February 2002, 07:36 PM
