been working on this character for a little while now and wanted to get some feedback.
Names Cristo and he's some sort of monster-type-guy, not really inspired by any actual monster, just that sort of feeling,
the model has changed somewhat from the concept sketch, ie: the bones instead of the shoulder pads, stripes, etc. though they're still decorations and not a part of him, and i haven't yet figured out how to do the chain without going over the already ridiculously high poly count, he's at 9637 triangles right now(not optimised).
any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated:)
though comments on spelling will be lost

I'd also like to point out that i did the initial Sketch while on a bus ride
...... and just noticed that i forget to make his belt.:shrug:

you're model's coming along, but I think you maybe be wasting some polys... since this is game art you could cheat and get away with losing a few... example being to have a the ribcage replaced with simple geometry roughly in the same shape and just slap slap an opacity map on to be able to see through the individual ribs.

the model needs to better match your picture i think that will make it look better.
for example make the head alot smaller. in the drawing it looks creepy and cool but
on the model it lookes big and goofy. but thats an easy fix if you agree.
the body also would look better styalised like the drawings.
Just my apinion and it is coming along great so far keep it up:)

Skrubbles: Evil Ernie huh? holy crap they ARE similar,uhm not sure what to do about that at the
moment. as for the extra poly's, yeay there's a LOT that aren't neccesary right
now, again, haven't optimised yet.

Dragot: I do agree, though i wonder if yuo're view of the head is somewhat affected by the
lighting,and lack of wavy hair, here's a brighter shot,
he could definately be more stylized, but i think some of that will come out
more when he's rigged (which i comepletely suck at) and posed

pretty much agree with everyting that's already been said.
shame that it looks so much like evil ernie but i guess you didn't realise that when you made this character.
alot of wasted poly's but as you say you have't optimised yet.
yes, slash IS king.

His proportions are off based on the sketch. Being as he looks somewhat bony, you should really over extend his joints in my opinion. Make him super lanky. His arms look very short as do his legs. Moreover, the arms look very bulky, where the sketches make them look a bit thinner.
