View Full Version : New at rigging, messed up with BlendShapes

Is more an animation problem:
I have a Rig, throwed together, and some blendsapes. Now If I want to deform the face with blendsape, it ignores the rotation given by the joints, and tends to reorient the geometry, baed on the blendshape. How can I make them to work together? For the moment, they just cancel eachother...

Hi Leionaaad, not sure if this will help but try the advanced tab in your create blendshape options and set the pulldown menu to front of chain... Then recreate your blendshape... Good luck!

i could be off the mark here but it sounds like you havn't changed the deformation order - make sure any front-of-chain blendshapes are listed _below_ the skinCluster node in the input order list.
