Hey everybody! After coming out of shock that my hard drive crashed, and finding that I didn't lose absolutely everything that I've worked on, I've started modelling once again. This particular "project" is like a sub conscious stream... I drew a couple of simple sketches with a certain strange feel to them, and decided to model them. Nothing is set in stone and I'm working out ideas as I go along.

This particular guy I decided to name Frillik. In my mind he lives in a grassy world with huge mushrooms everywhere. I am not sure yet, but he might be a singer of some sort.

The model is a whole is around 2800 polys... It seems to me he's not detailed enough for so many though. He doesn't look right just yet so I'll hold off on optimization until I get some crits (hopefully ).

Here is a chair I mocked up to fit inside this world... A Frillik-Chair, if you will. It's 592 polys...

A few more things done... the torso (particularly the chest and lats) and hips were annoying me.

Also gave him a couple of dull canines... One of his eyes is bigger than the other... Thought that an anomaly (mutation?) like that would sort of bring him out of the crowd.

Edit: Forgot... 2994 polys altogether. A bit large, but I don't think I'll spend much time optimizing. It's not objectively that big, I don't think... right?

After taking a break from looking at him and coming back I see clearly that there is something wrong with his pants that just isn't flowing with the rest of him... I can't put my finger on it though... Can any of you please offer your opinion on what needs to be done???
