Knight Rider, K.I.T. car. 30 minutes, paint, wacom.

07-01-2005, 02:26 PM
The Hof in the future, 10' photoshop. He is now connected with K.I.T. (

07-01-2005, 02:46 PM
Yay! One I've actually heard of! :D

07-01-2005, 03:39 PM
Decided to switch from the Trans Am to the new Dodge Charger. Although to be perfectly honest, it's barely recognizable. The attempt at perspective threw me off.

About 30 minutes, Photoshop + Intuos.

07-01-2005, 03:48 PM
i hate drawing cars lol

the closer you go to your monitor, the better it gets :D

07-01-2005, 03:57 PM

Took me a while to stop laughing at this one :D

I'll post an entry first one...oh the nerves.

Decided that car should have been redesigned to look more with the contemporary production:

07-01-2005, 05:49 PM
<geekmode> It's K.I.T.T - Knight Industries Two Thousand </geekmode>
Loved the car way back when. And the intro theme... who can forget that classic?!
It has to be 1 of the best TV theme songs ever!
Unfortunately don't have the time to do this one.
Keep at it people! :)

07-01-2005, 05:52 PM
Okay...I need to go out and get some fresh air a bit...but just to let you know...

"Knight Rider a shadowy figure...who does not exist..."(and there goes the usual background music in my head).

I don't like cars....but damn you guys bring back memories.

btw: Good one Vahn!

07-01-2005, 06:45 PM
I watched that show all the time, but I thought I would go a different direction with this one.

OpenCanvas, 1 hour

07-01-2005, 06:49 PM

07-01-2005, 06:57 PM

Darn. Vahn totally stole my idea!
Seriously, nice stuff so far

nice idea, csgirl, seeing a lot of literal translations on some of these daily sketches recently.

07-01-2005, 07:56 PM
PS, Wacom, about 15 minutes. First attempt at making a realistic-ish car.

07-01-2005, 07:59 PM
Well, here's my first submission since joining cgsociety....

How about Knight Rider redone Batman begins style but with some more curves and an oriental monk character ala Bruce Lee.....

Edit: opps forgot to post time: 1 hour with Sketchbook Pro 2 (trial version)

Decided that car should have been redesigned to look more with the contemporary production:

"Michael, meet your new, more environmentally-friendly partner. The Knight Industries Twenty Ten. More affectionately known as KITTen."
- Devon

csgirl: Another gold entry from you. :)
SurfGod: Nice job with the funky lighting. I like the rice look. :p Maybe Knight Industries' Japanese branch? :D
Vahn: Hilarious! You should make that into an animated GIF, though, just for kicks. :p

edit: Sorry, Vahn, couldn't resist. :D

07-01-2005, 10:07 PM
hehe lol yeah i should have ... :D :D :D

07-01-2005, 10:36 PM
My favorite line from Knightrider:
Kit: "Micheal, where are your pants?"
Hasslehoff: "Not now kit"
Any way thought I'd take it in a different direction. It always pissed me off that he didnt have a weapon too, so I threw that in.
PS/Wacom 2hrs. reference used for the motorcycle

When are we doing A-Team?

07-01-2005, 11:55 PM
It's my first time; be gentle ;)

I'm fairly happy with this (David Hasselhoff approved!!) sketch, since I'm terrible at cars...I've maybe drawn, ummm, one, before. No reference, 35-40 mins (PS, Wacom), tried to capture the feel of the intro. Well, what I can remember from the intro. I was only born in '87 :D

07-02-2005, 12:21 AM
When are we doing A-Team?

Shut up, fool. I ain't drawin' no plane.

I didn't really have time today to do a full sketch, but I did a quick doodle!
Pen and paper.
1-5 mins

07-02-2005, 12:54 AM
Knight Rider 3000 :)

~90 min, photoshop, wacom:

07-02-2005, 01:54 AM
Wow, haven't surfed these forums in ages and it just so happens that when I find the Daily Sketches here the topic is a Knight Rider redesign, I think it must have been calling to me.
Roughly an hour, predominantly PS:

Some cool pieces today.

Special nod to KMK and KDW. Amazing work.

07-02-2005, 03:09 AM
Thanks Daniell.

Couldn't help myself, I did another one, not as happy with, so it's not nicely finished.

07-02-2005, 04:40 AM
Now that I have stopped playing worlds of warcraft I should have time to do other things, like sketch :) What a cool topic to come back to. Almost an hour in Photoshop. I was thinking of some cool futuristic F-1 racer kind of car.

Shut up, fool. I ain't drawin' no plane.

I love it when a sketch group comes together

07-02-2005, 08:40 AM
Ever since his whole singing career and the german craze I just got traumatized of that show... :banghead:  :argh:

07-02-2005, 08:43 AM
I used to hate this tv program... ehh.. so, twisted picture again :)

This thread shows a lot of funny and nice pictures, I love them! Guys yo r creative ;)

I tried to work a "pity" in there too, seeing as my knowledge of Mr. T is restricted to pity, fools, too much jewelry and general aintgettingonnoplane-ness. Damn you for getting that theme song stuck in my head :P ;)

07-02-2005, 09:00 AM
Wish I had the time.. Great enties I've seen

My fav.

KDW - just lovin' the concept here!
KMK - awesome! is it fast enough you think? :p
csgirl - Haha, that's to funny! Same thing I was thinkin of! :applause:

07-02-2005, 10:31 AM
1h in photoshop with wacom volito. It's so hard to draw with wacom. Wacom is for painting.

Another literal approach, Photoshop, 1h20min :-)

07-02-2005, 08:06 PM
Good job guys! I know I'm late, but couldn't get to a computer last night. My take... (

Edit> Oh yeah... 3 hrs Photoshop CS w/ wacom...

Also: I want to mention I based this off of the Audi used in IRobot... Not the best with mechanical or automotive stuff so I needed something to look from...
