View Full Version : photoshop alpha/transparency problems

06 June 2005, 05:25 AM
I have a file in photoshop and I don't want the background showing up. I got rid of it and made it transparent, but I want to know how to make it so when I bring the file into maya it stays transparent rather then turning white. I don't know photoshop all that well, but I know it's something to do with the alpha. If anyone nows step by step what I have to do to solve this problem that would be great.

wrong forum, but make the cutout for the background in the alpha channel under the rgb channels. or make a seperate black and white image as a transparency map.
