Hi,

does anyone know how I can move an Object on the current CameraPlane (in PerspView)???

I need the same what the MoveTool does, if you drag the manipulator in the center (not one of the three arrows)...

Does anyone know how I can do this???

I'm sorry, I don't know if this will help with API, but if you just parent the thing to the camera and move it in local space that should work....

Hi,

mh... ya, that would work, but... somehow there must be an easier way ;)

I think I have to calculate it somehow.... with the Camera Up/Right Vector etc... but... don't know how

I don't know about the API, but there's always pixelMove in mel that translates based on the current view: pixelMove x y (but of course this only does it in pixels values, so it probably isn't what you might be looking for...)

Hi,

the pixelMove command works fine... :) thanks a lot!

But, if there's anywhere anyone who knows how to do this with API... would be great (right now I'm calling the MEL Command via API ^^)
