Hi. I'm trying to do a ambient occlusion pass inside a room. is there a way to get lights to affect the AOpass. I get really dark results.
Any tips?

As far as I'm aware when you're using ambient occlusion as a diffuse shader lights don't affect it at all. it's light as dark values are calculated by how close other objects in your scene. If you don't like how it looks try adjusting the max distance and spread values within the ambient occlusions parameters.

A method I use if I want to include the ambient in a light/shadow pass or even as a single render I use the ambient occlusion in a mix map as a mix amount with whatever shader I want for the diffuse in the white slot and either the color black or a darker version of my diffuse shader in the black slot.
