View Full Version : CLonning joints with ik erroneous???

Hello all
I am trying to make an autorigger for biped characters. I am going piece wise by making one branch at a time. My problem very simple What i have done is that I have created a leg that has the ik setup on it. I then mirrorJoint the leg's hip joint to create the clone for the other leg . Now as I clone the joint the hierachy comes out ok with all the handles applied but the joints in the cloned branch rotate at wierd angles and the ikhandles have bends in them. How do i create a rig having ikHandles clonned exactly the same? Or is it impossible to do so with ikhandles applied.Do I have to clone the joints devoid of the iksetup and then apply ik to the branches individually? Help me please!!!
