That's just funny considering that they do all their training on SGI's and NT workstations.

Well, true, at the Gnomon School, we run the labs on NT/2000 (used to be all IRIX, then one windows lab, then 2, and finally just upgraded our last SGI lab to Windows boxes). This is why the Apple story does not focus on the Gnomon School, but on Gnomon Online and the Gnomon Workshop.

We have some new DVDs coming out next month which were made with Maya running on OS-X... and Gnomon Online has several tutorials made with Maya on the Mac.

That's a really cool story.

I haven't heard much regarding Maya 4.5 on Mac OSX, but can anyone comment on how the performance is from personal use?

And yeah, I wish I had that setup too of course.
