View Full Version : Practice makes me a better artist...

Hey everyone, this is my 2nd real painting attempt. the first was pretty bad, but I think I am getting better. If it looks semi familiar, it's a remake of one of Chraig Mullins early works "Gunman" I am not happy with the hands, guns, background and some of the body proportions. But thats why I am practicing. Please give me all the comments you have. Thank you.

the space b/w his legs is way too far apart  i'd work on his shoulder/chest proportions google a pic of some guy's chest and work off of that. also, you prolly want to experiment with using dark darks and light lights. the concept is cool though! much better armor than i coulda come up with. and by armor...well, i mean whatever the hell he's wearing. :)
