hello every body !
Ususally when I animate the eye's I just rotate them, but now I'm
creating a cartoon character and my eyes are not perfectly round.
How do you guys normally animate the eye ?

normally i aim constraint the eye to a null object. so the eyes follow that object , that way instead of dealing with two you deal with one. also you can parent the null object to whatever you want your character to look at , makes it easier to animate the eyes instead of rotating them by hand.

another thing you have to add to your eyes in a case of a non realistic character, is to make space warps for both eyes, so the eye deforms inside this "space warp" erea, and it doesnt cross the ereas arond the eye hole.

i don't know lightwave, but couldn't you animate the texture postion (if the eye is a texture that is...:D)

texture can be a nice soloution, but still you have to think how do you link the direction of the eyes to a null object, so the eyes will keep their indipendency and wont be "locked" to tne head.
