Hi all,
I'm not a real good designer but anyway I did
my first character: the Gnak. ;)

I made a rendering to show a Store selling these
little toys ...
I used Brazil for the rendering and the box modeling
tecnique to realize the Gnak.

Sorry for my terrible english :hmm:

If you want you can see my image here (

Thanks to anyone wants to critique my pic! :p

They're cute!

However, I think there might be a tad too much specular in there...

Thank you for the reply! :)

The only one! :scream:

I would render them like ceramics ... you think ceramic should have less reflection?

Here you can see only one Gnak ;)

Thanks again

some ceramics have lots of reflection ... some have not so much. in this case.. maybe a little less would my opinion..

got a nice glaze there but yer, looks good either way, unless ur going for a ultra photoreal image then just go with wat looks good

Thanks again for the reply.
If I have time I would like to try some other material
and than I will post some new image.

For the reflections I used a fresnel reflection, but
at the moment I don't remember which IOR I used.

Somebody know where to find a list of IOR for non
transparent material (e.g. ceramic, plastic) in order to use
it for photorealistic fresnel reflections?

I really enjoy this figure :-) lovely mate!

But what about blurring the hdri reflection a bit? i think that would be bad-ass nice :-)
