hello . just finished this .

Hey, thats, not bad!:)
Would like to see wireframes to be able to critique the modeling more, though silhouette and texturing seem good.

hey razz thx for the reply ( tot i wasnt gonna get any already ) as requested heres the wireframe for the body modelled so far . there're props on the body too which have yet to be textured .

DUDE YOUR TEXTURES IS COOL!!!!
ONE SMALL COMMENT. THE BODY LOOKS TOO COOL FOR THAT HEAD...

I think you can increase polygoncount little more.

Holy crap you're an awesome texture artist!!
I love the texture on this guy but his mesh looks like it needs a little tlc. His knee and shoulder area could use a little more work and maybe his elbows. I can forsee some deformation problems within these areas. Try arranging the tri's in his shoulder area so that it will deform correctly. For the shoulder try to imagine a point under his under arm. Draw lines out from this point to the bottom of his shoulder, then to the top of his shoulder, and finally to the middle of his shoulder.
His head is pretty dense. I would remove some of those faces if you go over your poly budget. Other than that, fantastic job!!!

hey thx guys for the feedback . as for the joints deformations there're will be extra prop like shoulder , knee and ankle paddings to hide the deformations . :wavey:

heres a quick pose test . the mesh deformations around the corners will be fixed soon . :D

woohoo, I would love to see that one in UT2003 :D

haha j00st81 good idea but guess this model wouldnt appear in ut2003 tho . but it is a game model for an upcoming demo :) . wish us luck :)

A lot of poly's seem to go into make the middle eye thing. This could probably be replaced with a simple extruded hexagon with a flat top surface that was painted with a texture. I just don't see the need to make it a smooth concave hole when most of it is being hidden by the current texture anyway.

WOW! It's amazing what you can do with textures when done right, and your work is proof of that! Incredible detail considering the conservative amount of geometry in your model -- very sweet! It somewhat has a cartoon-like look -- love it!

hey slaughters that was a great idea with the eye thingy . but for now i'm plannin to leave it like this as the poly count for this thins is bout 2322 polys so far . will be making several versions of this character perhaps 4 different Level of Detail ( LOD ) iterations . But anyways thx for pointin that out . missed that one :)
:wip: :wip: :wip:

ok guys heres the final update . i wont be making any more changes to this character . just added a pair of rockets and did some minor changes to the polys . engine trails n all will be added in game . cheers .

A Lot of polys wasted for nothing...
But good with the textures!
