Im new to the daily sketch forum and I've been postponing posting here.

Im just been messing around with digital painting and Im hoping to start posting here a lot when school ends.

Here is what I got... Go easy on me.

Oh and it was about 45 min in painter

05-17-2005, 11:39 PM
I hope I have posted this correctly. This is my first post in the sketch forum!

Done in: Painter 8.
With: A Wacom using oil pastel brushes.
How long?: Around 30 minutes.

My workspace:
When I thought of my desk at home the first thought I had was of my cat, Monte, and his habit of jumping in front of the computer screen to swat at the cursor. So this is a picture of me, getting slightly annoyed, drawing with my wacom, playing with the cat. It is a really good thing that my cat isn't present at my day job...!

Wow  birdybear, I love your "ink" style. It has some sort of nostalgic look to it. I love it!

nice work Birdybear! It works! hehe... I think that if you attach works to your posts, you'll run out of space fairly soon. If you have a server you can post things on, it's often easier to just add a reference to its address.

I love that floaty Maidith, very funny =)

Quick and messy:

A little too messy: 15 mins OC

05-18-2005, 04:41 AM
It's not exactly photoreal, but it signifies the dullness of my desk area.

05-18-2005, 06:18 AM
Great work everyone.

I'm in the process of finding a new 'workspace' so my stuff is in storage ... :)

- photoshop 7, wacom tablet
- 1 hour 40 min

Hey everyone, this is my first ever post on CG Talk. I hope to continue these sketches as often as I can. This one is done in photoshop with a wacom tablet. I added just a slight touch of image/photo editing to give it a little extra something. Overall it took about 3 hours.
