View Full Version : Creating a Diamant

I've problems with creating a diamant. the modeling is no problem, but with the shading i have some problems. first i set the transparent channel to a brightness of 100% width a index of about 2.0 with fresnel. then i add some reflections. but it doesn't look very well. has someone an idea?

i'm a student in a highschool in switzerland. so i don't work with cgs as a job.

it hasn't to look photorealistic.

my result at the moment looks like this one:

i just took a buckyball and shaded it. i'm not very happy with the result. something looks strange.

Hi Gravedigger,

have you ever used the forum's search option? You will find tons of answers.

Just one hint: Use "Diamond", not "Diamant"!
