Good luck everybody!!

Hello everybody, I hope it\\\\\\\'s not too late for participating in the challenge, anyway, just for being here, sharing the space with many talented people, it\\\\\\\'s a pleasure.
My concept is very simple: The Master controlls the beasts with the sound of a horn. In part, I was inspired by the Hamelin Flautist, a story that I like a lot.

05 May 2005, 03:45 AM (

this is the design of the beasts that are controlled.

05 May 2005, 03:55 AM (

This is the horn the master will use to control the beasts.
I still don't know how detailed it will look, but I wanted to have clear how it would be.

05 May 2005, 04:28 AM (

here the layout on which I'm working the illustration, still subject to possible changes.

05 May 2005, 05:13 PM (

This is another proposal , I think this is the one I'll use. The human
characater has more presence.

05 May 2005, 04:41 AM (

In this part of the process I\\\'m cleaning the line art and drawing it at a bigger size. I only show one part that I had to change because I considered the position was not very normal for someone who rides at full speed.
And I promise to have in process the color drawing tomorrow

05 May 2005, 08:04 PM (

Here we've got the line art. Ready for color to be added.
Yes, indeed, the deadline is just around the corner.

05 May 2005, 10:16 PM (

Now I'm starting on what will be the color. I don't have defined yet the color palette but I'll be thinking about it in the process

05 May 2005, 01:07 AM

05 May 2005, 11:48 PM
Hi arkinet, yes it had to be fast. The truth is that I didn't find out about the contest until very late, but I decided I would give it a shot, although I didn't know if I could finish it well in the time frame I had, because I had other things to do like my everyday work . Thanks for the comment. I saw your work and I like it a lot, it is very elaborate.

good luck!!:)

Very nice piece. Very kinetic and fast moving. You can almost feel the ground rumble.

Also, if you ran through this this quickly to get it posted, I can't imagine what you would do if you had months to work on a piece. Or do you not even work that way? I know many artists that do their best work under a deadline with pressure. Is this how you are?

Anyway, great work and good luck!
