Hi, Im new in XSI and I would like to know if XSI has a tool like this http://www.thehobbitguy.com/tutorials/polymodeling/page02.htm if I choose add edge tool in XSI it only let me add a edge from one edge to other.

Thanks

Just connect a new edge from the beginning edge to the end you want, then add more vertex on the new created edge and move them (you can do that with add vertex tool). Easy.

yes I know that, but it isnt the same thing :thumbsdow I must work two times then.
Or this one, if I want draw a silhouette outline of my picture in the side view like this (yes I know its a maya tutorial)

the only thing that I get is a crazy polygon, because it change the points, see attachment, how can I correct it?

There is no way I know to replicate that tutorial exactly in XSI... What I just explain work fine... It doesn't take more time anyway.

For your problem, just make a n-polygon that follow the outline, then split it with edge tools then add points and move them. This is the turnaround to make this tutorial work with XSI.

Are you sure that you create the vertexes of polygons in clockwise order ? If you don't follow that rule, the polygons will be double edges and weird stuff will happend (get some times to be used to that).

Anyway, I've done this tutrial in XSI, and it has work fine.
