View Full Version : create a per-vertex attribute in maya API

I want to know how can I create my own per-vertex attribute in my node under maya API so that I can use paint attribute tools to modified it. I am currently using array builder to build an array so that it has the same length as the number of poly vertices but obviously maya need to know more before I can "paint" my array attribute. Do anyone can help?
