The other day I finally got myself to sit and watch the special features on the Peter Pan dvd and was quite impressed by the wirework behind the flight sequences.

If they manage to do half of what they did for that movie, IŽll be already quite satisfied.

Making the new uniform not suck will be a far greater accomplishment.

I dunno, he seemed to be flying passed too fast for me to really think it was too great.

The one where hes falling back just looks like CG to me. Although it may not be. Hes pretty shiny.

I agree the first clip is a little too fast to judge..but for what it was it was nice. I think it's interesting they're giving a lot of thought to the flight and movement and etc. and also the amount and scale of the prep they're doing would seem to indicate they're going to do a heck of a lot of it, and not just slap in a hypercephalic cg keanu everywhere. As for the falling back you watched a small size stream, but the falling backwards one was a 3d animatic. :hmm:

both of those shots where he flew by were cg. they were just there to show the cloud displacement. i don't think they've got any cleaned up footage yet. will have to wait for the trailer to see any probably. btw elisou, the supes outfit is on that site if you look in the gallery =)

i think that shot is supposed to show superman breaking the sound-barrier...

the suit (as far as i could tell), looks brighter, so maybe the colors aren't as dulled as we thought...

I can't say I'm really happy with the way this is going so far. The suit looks bad, and I just don't like how Bryan Singer is trying to emulate the old superman movies. He's even using old footage of Marlon Brando as Jor-El in this film. I just think it should be something new and independent of the previous films, not an emulation of said films.
