First of all, did I post this in the right forum, if not an admin should move it, thanks.

Monkey Business is doing a game, we are a group of 3 peoples doing a
sci-fi/action/horror kind of game. I am the director, and I am the one
doing most of the coding. Originally the game was meant to use
ordinary pixel sprite characters, but we figured we wanted 3D instead.

We need a person who can:
- Model a character
- Animate that character
- Skin that character
(the characters dont have to be detailed, their size wont be very big anyway)

You can download a very early stage of the engine so far, testing most
of the physic part of the game. Link: (
(You might need a dll file, search the net for it and put it
in the same folder as the sbc4.exe file download that here: ( )
or you can just whatch the trailer:

To see my portfolio try 'Unrelenting 2' a game which I've just
released. here is an image from that game: (
you can download the game at my site.

Note, this is not a paid job! Anyone that finds this interesting should contact me by mail at (

Good rant that is! :)
What you refer to in the linked article is a legitimate point.
It's irritating when people post in here with nothing to offer but an "idea" (which they usually won't even post info about)and ask for others to blindly donate hours of their creative work the RANT author suggests "they won't even offer some of their own money on this "great" idea.

Considering willy313's post, I think you misapplied the scenario. It does seem willy313 has something to invest, (if he truely is a coder and he really has a game out (I didn't check))....Besides, in the next RANT the writer makes another good point-
"...Now, please note: I am not talking about forming partnerships with other creative folks and working up something .....just because you are passionate to see it done."

What we really need is a better way of seeing people like willy313 find prospective "creative partners".
