The only circumpstance when you can uncheck this features is when only the camera changes throughout the animation. For any animation or change of ojbects or in lighting, you have to check it.
One other thing: Even in the case of a still frame projects, make sure that you have the right settings before unchecking it.

that nearly means i can't turn it off unless unusuall case
