Hey whats goin on. I'm using my friends account to check out the art on the forums. I'm pretty impressed with all the work on the site. Right now I'm a student at San Diego State University. I feel that on a lot of levels the caliber of work I'm doing isn't up to par. I was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind telling me about your educational background so that I can approach the tier that you guys are at. Below are some links of art whose styles I really respond. If you could offer any advice for a hunger design student I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your time. ( ( (

Second year UofI student here, transferring to AAU (SF) in June (I know, I know. You don't need to go to an expensive school to be good. But I have my fair share of reasons for going).
Seeing as how all of the pieces you're pointing out are digital paintings, maybe you should get into that a bit (if you haven't started learning already)? Take part in the daily sketch group ( and keep with it. Get ahold of a Wacom if you don't have one, and just go nuts. Educational background isn't as important as just practicing.
