View Full Version : SolidGrowth demo

I downloaded the demo for Vue. I was looking at the SolidGrowth demo but I can't figure it out.

They create a single rubber plant and then the scene updates with about 10 rubber plants. There's no explanation on getting to this step.

What am I missing here?

I haven't seen the video but it sounds as if they are adjusting a plant that would be attached to an ecosystem material. Look to the material editor and see if your material is set to Ecosystem. You can add plants, rocks and other objects to the ecosystem and it populate with a density that you specify (among other things).

If I'm answering the wrong question, I appologize =)

Thanks for the response :)

Here is the link to the Flash demonstration:

May have to copy and paste

I can't find anything in the Materials that says Ecosystem. I wonder if this demo is crippled.

Yes it seems it lacks something... In order to get 10 different rubber plantsas in the demo, just click 10 times on the plant button, or use the scatter replicate button and click the "with variation" tick.

thats because you guys are using v5esprit, which is the only v5 demo available.

V5Infinite which has the ecosystem feature + alot of other features and enhancements not available in v5e + itīs modules isnt available as a demo yet, itīs due out now in q2.
