Food for the Moon Productions ( is looking for 3D artists to collaborate on a short sci-fi/action movie. We want lasting relationships with all our collaborators, so serious inquiries only, please! This is a film to be shot largely in front of a green screen (which we've already done before, so we're not feeling our way through). Be part of this new wave in cinema! Put "I have experience in green-screen productions" on your resume! We will work with you through email, IM, phone, so it doesn't matter where you are.

This work will start IMMEDIATELY, as in before April 15th, 2005 and needs to be absolutely completed by May 5th, 2005. This is a rush job, so wusses need not apply.

ELEMENTS WE NEED CREATED: (modeling, rigging, shading, animation):
-digital double of an actor (lowpoly)
-cityscape/skyscraper background plates (lowpoly)
-black flying/hover transport ship (lowpoly)
-big badass computer sitting in a giant room (hipoly)

These have already all undergone concept design, but if you'd like to give input, we're open to it. The number of shots including these elements is only about a dozen, so don't worry about taking on a huge unfinishable project, this is a warm-up that should be fun to get to know one another. We have done preliminary casting and storyboarding (available upon request).

We may also need a talented compositor to affix these plates together. Show us your talent.

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING for these fine services:
-Back-end pay. We already have a short film distributor attached to our work, so this film is being released commercially. You will receive a percentage of the film's profits.
-Credit (something classy, not "CG artist guy")
-demo reel editing/creation. We are a film production company, we will help you make a demo reel from this work, and your previous work, if you desire one.
-If you want to make a film project in the future, we will field your idea seriously, and try to make it happen. After all, we know you're in it for the creativity too.
-Lasting relationship. Our company makes about 9 movies a year. If we know we can count on a good CG team, we can have more and more of these projects include CG. This means more for your resume, and ultimately we can pay you, and maybe when we're big we'll let you run our CG division, who knows.
-anything else you think we might be able to help you with... within reason.

Inquiries should be sent to: . Be ready to supply samples/demo, preferably online, but mailing a CD with video files is also fine. Please act quickly, thank you!
