Just deleting one of the triple posts I accidentally did!

Oh, the power of pie!

I\'m thinking that this image will be a self-portrait. An exploration of my food addiction! I\'m leaning towards putting faces on pies, but I don\'t know whether to make them subtle, or sinister-cartoony!

Either way I want it to be both funny and sad, I think. We\'ll see as I sketch how it turns out. :)

I like your concept. I too can relate. I will watch as you develope this... I want to see how it is ultimately presented.

Sorry about the triple post, guys. I kept getting timed out on while I was trying to enter -- I thought I only did it twice, but ...three times??? Didn't mean to be obnoxious. I'm not THAT thrilled about the concept! ;)

Thanks, Chris. I'm a little scared about painting myself, but it should be fun! I'll show no mercy!

Hahaha.... thats great:D I like your sense of humor! This will definitely make an excellent subject once your image is completed. Keep it up!

Another concept sketch. Just trying to get a feel for how I want the colors. I'm thinking dramatic lighting, with the focus on the girl and pastries.

I feel the image is too static, though. I'll have to see what I can do to improve that when I start doing the line art.

Haha way to go, Karyn! :D Awesome concept, and do I see a familiar face? ;) If you're worried about the composition being static, maybe try to move her arms around a little bit? Her right, our left could go a bit more over her head, for example, like she's trying to pounce through the glass. Just a suggestion. I'm definitely watching this! :D
