This is the very first concept.
I want to show the "complicity" between a (sort of)dragon master and the giant monster.
But i will try to show a full one-sided control... to show the monster is not able to take decisions at all. I want to show that in his eyes.. well; first, try to find a good concept to illustrate my idea =3=

Neet looking creature. Can't wait to see it in color/environment.

hey man these lines are coming along very well. I think that you have a great sense of size depth in your drawing here. this looks very promising. Ill be looking for you later.

ok; i've started to search for a good "monster" design... something between "strong" and... mmmh pleasing + the inexistant eyes.. well i mean he looks nothingness. mhhhh

Great sketches! Curious to see what the scene is going to look like.
Going to be a race against the clock with less than two weeks left, though. :)

05 May 2005, 12:32 AM
Ok. I've kept the little sketchy i drew before and i've done a first, fast, lineart.
Now i have to find a better framing and start to refine the whole line...
05 May 2005, 11:34 PM
Now i continue with painter for coloring wip.

05 May 2005, 06:57 PM
Great colors here and funky style- I love the crossover between fantasy and childrens' art. I think you should change the colors of the feathers though- the blue areas make it look as if that is part of the sky, and it makes the feathers look much less solid.
Just make them all yellow/magenta and you'll be set to submit!
Good luck

Congratulations on finishing!

I think that you feel much better in lineart. Your sketches where... brave (?). I can't find a good word. They where dynamic and strong.
The creature on the final image seems to be smaller and more childish, in my opinion, but overal artwork is still great.
05 May 2005, 02:37 PM
good luck monsieur!
i like the work in progress and the sketch evolution
where did you get the time to work on that one??
05 May 2005, 02:43 PM
