This is a setting for a flim I'm working on. It's an abandoned alien ( well not that alien ), city. It's a full 360 degree set. This one view.

i know the city is supposed to be abandonded, but somehow the picture is too dark for my taste. it seems like you lose a lot of detail because of that and makes it a bit hard to crit...
any chance to sneak in a couple of light sources ?? maybe some spots lights from below with a strong shadow to lighten up those building in the background and give them a haunted look at the same time ???

It's a great moody environment it does capture the theme very well, I like it. However I must agree with the comment on it being a bit washed lacking contrast and visible details.

Again two new views of an excellent model that shows the great amount of detail that is in this model. What are your plans for this model or is it just to source still images from?

Thanks for the words of encouragment!
The model is one set from a film that is being produced to be shown in a 360 degree format. It will be a fully CG production with a running time of @25 mins.
I'll try to post some more enviroments soon.

Another set. This is a large room in a spacecraft. the view is entering through a hallway/tunnel into the room.

I think these two new images are very dark or perhaps its just my Gamma settings the lower image looks nice but I dont like the big pink guy at all :)

"Pinky" looks like a stand-in to me.. ;)
but i agree.. still those pictures are so dark.. :/
which is really a shame cause the stuff i am ABLE to see looks rather promising... try to put some more lights into your scene...

They are a bit dark. I've still got more lighting to do in the enviroment.
The big pink guy is a scale standin for the character.
Sorry, forgot to mention that!
Here's another of the city. I did some more work on the lighting.
That's a ship there on the center dias.

Yep that image is much better, it would nice to see a higher resoloution shot of it. The darker city now forms a great and detailed backdrop for the well illuminated arena at the centre it looks great would be nice to see more areas like this.
