View Full Version : Maya API problem - MPxNode::setDependentsDirty

I'm trying to use MPxNode::setDependentsDirty (a virtual function) on a plug-in node. If I derive a new node directly from MPxNode, my version of that virtual function gets called by Maya and everything works fine. But if I derive from MPxLocatorNode, then it never gets called, even though MPxLocatorNode is derived from MPxNode. Sound weird?

Anybody come across this before?
