View Full Version : Shave And HairCut Problem

i have encountered a serious problem on shave

my friend has already successfully written a shader to transfer the object's surface normal to the rib curve outputed by shave....everything is correct

but once the object change its shape either by bone or deformer on the other frames......the surface normal doesnt update on the rib curve ouputed by shave......we have checked that when we go to other frame eg. frame5 open shave\styplize Hair, let the shave load the current state of the mesh and press done....the output rib curve then has correct surface normal

can someone has same experience on shave and PRman...(we have already try update growth mesh on every frame by mel command but the rib curve is freshing it seems they are changing their position on the mesh since shave reallocate the hair)
