Well, here I am again ... really happy with this new challenge.... I'm going to learn a lot ...
This is my 3d concept, something very simple because I havent think yet about the detaills of the scene... I was thinking about mixing some sci-fi and fantasy elemants on it ....lets go and see what happens ...

03 March 2005, 02:31 AM (

And I've began modelling my servant ...

03 March 2005, 02:31 AM

Good luck!!

Hi emonimo, I love the concept, very clear cut;) and the creatures are coming along great. Since, in the cube sketch, the creature seems to be alert to our prescence, you may want to exaggerate his eyes a bit more.
Keep it up:thumbsup:

That is a cute little devil :) The concept is really cool - it can come out a very good image. Are they standing in front of a wall? I think it could be interesting if they both looked right into the camera - like measuring the viewer. Very good start, I'll be back

Very cool little creature. I like your ideas. Good luck. I will be watching.

Thaks a lot girls and boys for your nice words ....

DaddyMack: he is not going to be watching at the camera position, so I'll keep the eyes .... I prefer that they look to other point out of the picture, like if it was happening something else out of the camera ... anyway thanks for your coment ...I appreciate it a lot..

Gunilla: You know .... I say to you the same as DaddyMack...

Alaric (sorry I dont know ho to write your user name): Thanks a lot mate ... really greatful

So here is a test of the pose of the servant ....

04 April 2005, 01:56 PM
Nice character ! cool work ! Let's see what's next !

04 April 2005, 09:04 PM
Hi emonimo! :wavey:
it's looking very good! I'll be watching this one...
the only thing that may look a bit strange (but not bad at all) in my opinion is the way his hands are "planted" in the ground... maybe making the weight to go on the fingertips and lifting up the palms a bit...I don't know...
anyway, good luck for the challenge, keep up the good work!! :)

Hi jeronimo........... your little guy here is quite the nice and fun to look at model.....I like him alot.....He has a "troublemaker" look about him to the maximum.....I think a bit of "barely" visible muscle protruding from him would work nice.....just some "under-lying" muscle that barely creeps through the skin.....Possibly extend the arms out a "touch" him more pose possibilities........

Ok......looking very nice....I'll be back to see more, and think your doing a real nice job here, very much to my liking and appeal......Keep it up.....

Cool stuff so far. Nice work on the coloring. Keep at it. I might suggest a bit more bump around the appendages though. Keep at it!:wip:

04 April 2005, 12:43 AM (

Wow people!, thanks a lot for your coments and crits, they help me so much ... as someone of you said, I've changed the position of his hands and I'll rework a little on his muscles .... once more time, thanks ...

And here you have the wip on the texturing, it has been hard to unwrap all this mesh, but it worths the time I've spent on it ....

Good luck to all of you!!

04 April 2005, 01:07 AM
hey nice model that you have, it looks somethig like gollum from lord of the rings

04 April 2005, 11:30 PM (
