Latest Update: Modeling: arhitekt (

hehe thanx everyone, here is the start of my architekt

03 March 2005, 07:21 PM (

Well to get started, what can i say i like doing girls, though i am primary into 2d ill try this too. she is a maid and tea was a minute too late heh heh

03 March 2005, 07:28 PM
cool concept dude...

not bad

03 March 2005, 09:52 PM (

Ok i started modelling the face of the maid , still roughing it out, it is made in splines, i know , they suck, but im kinda used to them, though i think ill box out the rest

03 March 2005, 04:59 PM (

Allmost done with the face. since i had a lot of angelina jolie pcs on my comp it was again based on her. i actually did her before ut it was boxed out, i like this one better. sadly ill be changing her to fit my sketch. i think ill actually go for the aomic book, or rather cartoonish style.

03 March 2005, 05:59 PM
wow, this is even cooler than your 2d entry! :) Gotta watch your threads carefully.

Hey, that ear looks great! Could you make a tutorial for that? :scream:

03 March 2005, 08:54 PM
Very nice modeling, good luck with your idea

03 March 2005, 08:57 PM
Thanx people, yeah, i guess i could make a tutorial , but there is just one problem, i dunno how to post it, but hey if ya like it i can mail it to you, seriously, it is no problem:)

03 March 2005, 09:04 PM
Hi! i heve liked the idea! how i heve said before, i like much more a scene the represent the feelings using human beigns. We can with this type of representation, identify ourselfs in the scene.

good luck

03 March 2005, 09:16 PM

03 March 2005, 08:59 AM
woow cool.. didn't know you had a 3D thing going aswell.. feeling stupid to not have read your signature. Sorry.

The story line is going really good. And unlike lazy old me, you are very capable of updating both your entries!

One small crit(no wait actually it is a question) though.. unlike the general era your intro sudgests.. the modeling is a bit more cartoonish. Is that the kind of scene you shall try be going for?

Honestly I was expecting a thread in the lines of your 2D entry. So I did come with a few presum^ptions. Thats sort of what made me have the question as a 'crit' at first.

Lets see where this is all going to be getting to.

03 March 2005, 10:24 AM
HEH HEH, yeah tx black. i Actually am going for a cartoonish comic book feeling. it is axctually a hommage to my comic book. il post a picture out of it. AAAnd there is a fact that i wanted to try out a possibility of doing a cg comic, who knows.Another fact is that in the 3d work im still kinda new, and i am seriously thinking about putting the 3d studio default teapot model. i dont care if it taces away the slight shadow of a chance for winning. its like , ever since i first laid eyes on max i was wondering , WHY a TEAPOT... wel here is my answer

03 March 2005, 10:33 AM
Lol, I left max about 3 years ago... And never looked back since (Bad memories).
Sort of fell in love with MaYA.

As for why a teapot.. it is a question I too have asked a couple of times and never really bothered to search for an answer.. true.. why the hell a tea-pot?! :)

I can picture the comic feel as on your characters.. Lets see where it gets you to. How ever new you may be to 3D.. I would say you made a right choice to try and improve yourself on it. It is going to be very demanded. I hate to admit it but the days of airbrushes.. paintbrushes and posterpaints are gone now.

Good luck on your 3D entry aswel!

Ps, small advice.. you are right, a teapot won't win.. don't post a teapot :)

03 March 2005, 10:37 AM
WOOOEEEE BUT I WANTED A TEEAAPOOT:cry:   oh the cruelty of life. tx black:D

03 March 2005, 06:16 AM (

Well just an idea. i might go directly for my comic book for inspiration. the servant in the pic. here will be chained for the sculpture, she has a mask of a doll to cover ger emotions, so hers would be the body talkin. mistress will be in the pic with an evil grin and a remote control... but maybe ill stick with the first one, still deciding

03 March 2005, 07:13 AM
cool man, i like your style, specially the CONCEPT. Keep on, with this speed and you'll make happy a lot of people here.

03 March 2005, 07:48 AM
Heheey!Woow.. what happened here?!!! There I go expecting a little cartoonish woman.. and I see THIS!!

The drawing is very impressive! A very strong dynamism all through out!
As fantastic as the whole action looks in this still. When you fit her into a complete composition, wouldn't it be difficult to get such a motion on the skirt? Are you intending on doing a serious amount of underskirt layers to puff it up like that?
(Is that a mask?! Thought it was make-up. Had liked it as makeup actually. I know that this is the concept drawing so it won't exactly matter... But if thats a mask.. she possibly has a very flat head!)

This is an outstanding update.

Keep them coming

03 March 2005, 07:57 AM
Thanx monker, i live to serve:)

Black i allways look forward to your replies:D i think ill stick with the mask... except ill deflatten it, yeah, there ll be a lot of underskirts. initialy i didnt wanna use my zbrush... BUT IM GONNA:twisted:

03 March 2005, 08:07 AM
Very nice model,of the woman's face.Congrz.

03 March 2005, 08:29 AM
Very cool concept, I like.

03 March 2005, 09:18 AM
Gee... WHAT can I say?!! I am ultra flattered! Getting a complimnet when on YOUR thread means alot. Thank you:thumbsup:

Oh actually no, I liked the featurless flatness of the mask. I think you have given it very successfully. The thing is that if youlook at it, you will notice that there is either a mask or a head.. no room for the both of them.. You know; the part where the masks are worn ON the face

I can SURE imagie Zbrush in YOUR hands.. I would have to expect very good results.

Keep it up!

03 March 2005, 10:03 AM
I know whhattyamean man, and if u wanna see my zbrushin, check my sultan... ignore Superman, and tyrant, they were rushed:D

03 March 2005, 10:09 AM

EEk, thanx for the support, umm sorry Posh, i didnt intend this:eek:

03 March 2005, 10:16 AM
You got drawing skillz, period. Love the comic book look for the concept.

03 March 2005, 10:18 AM
I nearly commented on this earlier... I was scrolling down and thought Oooh, that looks like Angelina Jolie! And then I saw you'd used her as your inspiration. I adore the concept sketch! It's really fresh and there is sooo much life in it... I wish I had half that energy... All those petticoats are gonna be fun. The 'mistress' in mine is going for a similar look too...

03 March 2005, 10:22 AM
dmckim, thanx alot:D

03 March 2005, 11:37 AM
love the artwork dude.. its spot on

03 March 2005, 11:37 AM
Glad u like it man, there is just one problem, ill have to render it in layers cuz my computer will die if i export it all in max from zbrush. i intend to use the model i made till now bit the final details will be brushed:)

03 March 2005, 11:39 AM
Thanx eddie, i love your gigerwork, will u bw joining us here soon?

03 March 2005, 01:44 PM
Very cool idea!! The last sketch is amazing!! And the model is great too!!! Nice work Nebezial!!

03 March 2005, 04:56 PM
i posted wrong here:eek:

03 March 2005, 08:43 PM (

well i connected and welded her, and now im off to the fun of accesorising,

03 March 2005, 09:07 PM
Although something about the bottom edge of ther ribcage bothers me abit. I'm not sure if maybe the widest pint should be a bit higher, or just narrower, but something about it just looks a bit off. Still and excellent model, though! Keep up the good work!

03 March 2005, 09:18 PM
well as u know,i'm a 2d artist so i don't know the slightest thing about 3d,but i do know my human figures.

and sum parts seem slighty off proportionally.first off it seems the shoulders are too big, rather manish.same with the bicep.

the legs, its seems the area from the knee to the ankle shud be longer.

the curves u have to represent the rib cage...shud be higher.

thats it,and then it will be perfect.

again,i don't know how difficult it wud be to re-model,or edit things cos i'm a 2d guy,but i hope that helps bro.

feel free to ignore

03 March 2005, 03:18 AM
I know whhattyamean man, and if u wanna see my zbrushin, check my sultan... ignore Superman, and tyrant, they were rushed:D

You know it would have helped alot had you set links :) Now I know where you got your avatar from! :p Trying to tell us something about yourself?:D
(I have to state that Christopher Reeve was my hero. And a big part of me died with him)
I liked them, and I have to agree on the amazing abilities offered by Zbrush. As good a modeler as I may be in MaYA... I am very new in using Zbrush.

I have done a few characters for the competitions in another forum I am now helping moderate. We initially started to invest on the software for an upcoming production. But I was too busy to advance on it as I would wish to. You could see a small starter I posted in the Zbrush Central here (, which I had to give a pause to

An intresting update on your models here. (Growing up with Superhero's.. I have always had a something for women in boots  )
I have to point out though that the korset is more constructed to force the free ribs aswell. Even though you would be able to only have the guts tuck inwards in normal circumstances: the really 'Tight' ones were initially narrowing the last to pair of ribs in order to give a better breast posture.
The bulk that gives out and the general musculature of her makes it fairly contrastin gto the slimmer feel of her head and face. On purpose?

Glad to see you are having fun!

03 March 2005, 12:12 PM (

well i did come work added some detals and stuff, i fixed the corset a bit. dont mind these textures, i always put some for the material boundaries, still a long way to go.. and i am hestating on using the zbrush, maybe ill go ax all the way

03 March 2005, 12:21 PM
Good modelling and some amazing concept sketches.

One thing i noticed about the servant model is that her shoulders and upper arms look very masculine. Also the back of her head looks a bit pointy (or is that intentional?).

Overall very good indeed though, best of luck in the competition.

03 March 2005, 12:23 PM
Man there is a chaos on my 2d post... ill answer here first, thanx NOOB, as u can see i didnt fix all the glitches u suggested .. i WILL, but i just discovered some things in max and sorta got carried away:D

Black, i saw ur zbrushing aaand.... what the hell r u waiting for, t looks great! oh and i AM having fun:twisted: :D ps the underskirts and the main skirt are iust sketches, dont take them seriously, new ones will be properly made, these i made just to check the size and then realsed that they are too big, ah well , gotta fix fix fix:wip:
oh and thanx swamps, yeah i noticed ti too, but it is easy to fix, new max has made significal updates on the soft selecton system, it is just that i was lazy:D

03 March 2005, 01:58 PM

i love the face xpression !

03 March 2005, 02:09 PM
Very cool modeling, I really like that costume, look great.

03 March 2005, 02:41 PM
Model looks great :applause:

Ma kakve veze ima sto su splajnovi, dobri su ;)

03 March 2005, 03:27 PM
a brilliant concept to show a master & servant theme, with the master partially hidden. (kinda kinky too, if ya dont mind me saying)...
nice touch on the model / glassy effect(...that won't be final though, or would it?)

03 March 2005, 05:36 PM
Nicely done so far. :)

Will the mask be expressionless? I'm really attached to that startled look from one of your previous updates!

03 March 2005, 05:44 PM
tx people, no ill work on, the mask, i was just having some fun with mental ray:)

03 March 2005, 05:44 PM
Wow really excellent work. I see there has been a couple of comments on the shoulders being a bit big, and I sort of had the same feeling. But it doesnt bother me all that much if you don't mind a little gender confusion, that coupled with mask throws in a little intrique into the mix and adds a certain fun tension to the picture. Cheers and good luck.

03 March 2005, 07:07 PM
...going nice, good luck, i really like the way you`re going...

04 April 2005, 03:40 AM
great job. i really love those 2d drawings , your concept idea is good, not so easy to model it out... good luck...

Zlatan B.
04 April 2005, 06:21 AM
Cool idea.
I love the way you modeled her face. But her shoulder should be smaller and also little wider hips.

good luck!

my stuff: (

04 April 2005, 07:23 AM (

well i fixed up a thing or two., kinda going for that early chaplin style look, still long way to go

04 April 2005, 10:49 AM
she still has some enormous shoulders! she could easily kick hers masters but!

try lowering your shoulder line and make them a lot smaller!
and my God, her boobs are almost faling out!

really liked your second idea by the way!

04 April 2005, 10:57 AM
i agree, i was just busy with my 2d work , thanx man, i am going for the second one. but the composition will be a bit larger, also i messed ip her mask while creating the expression, so now t looks too much like a transvestite:sad: but ill fix it all:D

04 April 2005, 12:21 PM
I don't know, may be it's just Me, but I found the head a little small...
oh well, keep it coming mate!

04 April 2005, 12:24 PM
DAMN man u r right, i knew something bugged me, i owe u one!

04 April 2005, 12:40 PM
fantastic 2d ya got here nebezial .. beautiful stuff

i agree with the small head but i'm thinkin too that the hips are to small in the x & y ... i think once you plump up the head it will look even moreso

enjoyong it now that i found it ... nice forage into 3d for sure

04 April 2005, 12:45 PM
damn how frustrating, all these sweet mistakes to correct, an i wont be coming home tonight:cry: thanx pigwater

04 April 2005, 02:48 PM
damn great stuff you got here man.. very kewl style im liking it alot dude.. the crits have already been pointed out.. so ill point out the comments.. Compliments on your work man.. dont be down hearted your work is great dude!!! really kewl concept.. keep it up

04 April 2005, 02:49 PM
oh and by the way.... Yummmmmyyyy corsets LoL

great stuff dude keep it up .. i be watching

04 April 2005, 02:56 PM
just one thing about anatomy: i thing that shoulders are too srtong for female ...

04 April 2005, 03:47 PM
I don't exactly think that it is the shoulders being over muscular or anything.. they would look weird even had you intended her muscular.

It is sort of from the armpits being too high, which formed from the manner you shaped the breasts. The whole construction of the model has to some what fit the result you are aiming for from the first step up.
Like in adition you may want to allow for her trapez muscles to connect to her neck from her back.. it's like you pressed her head and neck in.

If you just try to picture the neck pulled up a little (Head a little bit enlarged as well... really doesn't fit in) and the armpits less piched.. you'll get where I am getting at.

As for the hips bit;
The breasts and the corset sort of make it deciveing. Her torso is far longer than it would be in a normal person. If you make the distance from the bottom of her corset to the top of her shoulders as short as from the bottom of the coset to her armpits.. I think it would be in it's normal measures.

Aparently your charaters are really going to end up being "Characters"! :)

Keep it up!

04 April 2005, 07:27 PM
Hey, this is a working girl of very hard physical jobs, I think...Since she began to work in her early ages, her body got become deformed and looks so strong and healthy...This is what are the things that came to my mind when I saw our model...Good texturing but modeling? it is an argument...

04 April 2005, 07:54 PM
What with her face? :)

04 April 2005, 07:37 AM
i agree with everything black said... except... there is was to much muscle mass on her arms shoulders and back. all u gotta do is shrink that down. what actually helps alot is looking at pilate's adds and success stories coz the chicks are LEAN! u can actually see the muscle and where its supose to be on a well proportioned girl.. then just add some fat to fill in the gaps. lol.
a quick fix i think u should do is tone down that lat muscle. her lats are way to tight... i dont even think its possible for a lat to join the arm that low. the join just below the shoulder.

in no way is this model bad just i think u jumped the gun a lil... she looks like a dude in drag:eek: (no offense... lol)

as soon as uve tweaked her a bit can u post her again without clothing?

all the best its an excellent start and great concept... keep going:thumbsup:

04 April 2005, 07:16 PM
cool not a 3d expert, but i tried to make something simple in max, buuuut its HARD!

so i apreciate your work, and a good render. u really know how to mix materials. the only thing i dont like is that mask, i think its a bit too flat on the face..(zaljepljena) ...but...jind joja ipak.

-Beware of the flowers around u- :wise:

04 April 2005, 07:46 PM (

drastic change of concept, got this idea yesterday and kept laughing, pharaoh and the royal arhitect discussing hisnew idea of giving valley of the kings a new look, u see there were cubes instead of pyramids before

04 April 2005, 01:17 AM
Not that the original concept wasn't good.. But I can sence the humour through this one.. and I really like it!

I'd say go for it if you think you can catch up to the loss in planning.

04 April 2005, 04:31 AM
haha i love this concept... probably my architecture intrest seaping threw but i love it...
u can really pull out all the stops with this... the pyramids (cubamids) could be fantastic, just beacause they were such monumental pieces of architecture... this is where those extra points for details and skill really matter.

i think u should do it:thumbsup: but u might want to hop to it coz a fair bit of time has past already...

04 April 2005, 07:14 AM (

hehe thanx everyone, here is the start of my architekt

04 April 2005, 12:04 PM
KAKO JE LUUUUUUUUUUUD!! great thingie u got there. i like it even more. i think you're the type overwhelming with ideas. i like it alot!! great great CUUUUTE!!:bounce:

04 April 2005, 06:12 AM
ok first of all im offeneded.... ;) so this is ur vision of an architect hmmmmmm lol

are u able to render it from the angle that we will see it in the final image.. i ask coz it doesnt really do much for me on the left render but the profile is great.

so i dont want to make any comments till i can see what it will look like from the right angle.

great modeling

04 April 2005, 09:07 AM
I like this concept more. Nice model. Jedino mozda malo da ga doteras sa strane (osim ako namerno nisi hteo tako da izgleda) mnogo mi je nekako "kockast" sa strane" (pogotovu vrat).

Well, good luck with your new concept! :)

04 April 2005, 09:42 AM
Really nice concepts....modeling is also looking real nice...

04 April 2005, 07:58 AM
I've been watching your 2D thread for so long I forgot to check your 3D! And you're changing it! Or are you going to do two here...? I really like the new idea as well! I love Egyptian themed stuff, so you've got my vote! :)

04 April 2005, 05:43 AM
Yes, much better idea than the first one pal,
and those models are coming along just great!

04 April 2005, 06:55 PM
Man, I just stubmled upon your thread here for the first time and all I have to say is awesome! I really like everything you have going on here from the sketches (great!) to the modeling and character design. I really like the look of the characters so far. Keep up the ecellent work! I will be following this thread for sure.

04 April 2005, 08:06 AM
