Ohh a old rx7.
I thought U post a new one
Also the rx8 looks cool
imporve the rendering! :thumbsdow
Sorry...but something looks wrong.
Are the wheel 100% on the ground?
I guess the light comes from the right?
But why is there a big specular on the front bumber?
The Spec. is to big.
How about using a HDRI Image.
Go to www.suurland.com and read what he wrote about his NewBeetle. May this could help U?
I'm looking forwad to see new rendering...

you couldve modeled a better car than that...:) i mean model of the car not the quality
Good work. I bet the car does indeed touch the ground. You can adjust the bias on your shadows to get rid of the floating look.

well the model itself looks ok, but the lighting and materials are off...
first i really would get rid of that yellow shaodw... you didnt say if you were aiming for photorealism specifically, but somehow it doesnt fit at all.
the tires look rather unfinished as well, how about giving them a nice chrome interior ? it looks kind of lambert white right now.
and change the specularity of your car paint for sure.. the highlight should be a lot sharper... and best to work with some light boxes or whatever you call them... constant white grids that you place around your car for some nice reflections....

NOW we are talking. dang. what an improvement for sure....
and nice camera angle too. very good job on that.
the only thing left for me to suggest would be maybe to lighten up the headlights a bit to bring them out more... maybe to turn up the speculartiy on them too, so they look a bit sharper..
thats the only thing really.

yep she's a beauty alright!:) I like it, very sleek looking. I'm finding alot of these car projects to be very inspiring.
Anyways, my only request (not a crit) would be to have a 3/4 shot from above, and use a spot light with soft edges to light it (so the floor has a round soft-edged spotlight on it). Also keep the wheels turned out :)
As a point of curiousity for me, what program and method did you use in modeling this vehicle?

Yay for the underappreciated 2nd gen RX-7. I am assuming yours is a twin turbo, right? heh.
This BEGS for a nice HDRI.
