Philippe Savard has entered the Master and Servant 3D.

Latest Update: Modeling: MasterTest2 (

wanted to make it younger but I think I push it a little too far.. some wrinkles and cracks will probably be back in the next one ;)

Your characters looking really good, the wrinkles and skin texture especially look nice. My only critiques are that the skin around the 3rd eye doest seem to flow as well as the rest of the model, also maybe its me but his teeth look a little small.
Really interested to hear more about your concept.

This model is great! What is your servant character going to be?

wow, it looks great, good modelling, but there is no story, who is the master and who is the servant?? also maybe you can post some concepts for the final image.

good luck

i agree. the model is looking great, but where's the concept? some degree of modeling progress would be nice too.

what software are you using, by the way?

hey all
luckysevens:thanx for your comments you are right about the teeths and I ll probably have some tweaking to do on the third eye region too :)

I m hesitating between an armoured elephant or some kind of birdish archangel for the servant...;) At this time, lots of ideas are still fighting in my head to decide who will be materialize...I want to make something that talk about the human and his spiritual condition.. sorry to be so vague ;).. next update will probably be some sketch to clarify this a bit..
There is so much technical stuff to do that I tought that I still had the time to think some more..
Here is some modeling progress for this head to answer Flinder's question
Thanx for stopping by.. I ll be checking your entry too :)

Wow, there is some serious competition out there! Great work. Only critique I might have that hasn't been mentioned is the texture of the eye- it looks a little flat, like a sphere painted like an eye. If you haven't modeled the iris/pupil/cornea as 3D elements, I would recommend doing so. In CGI, it's lifeless eyes that can make the best character fail (I'm not one to talk, eyes are my biggest weakness too, but you know the saying: "Eyes are the mirror to the soul." It's too true!)
