View Full Version : Coloring/Smoothing Fully Rendered Charcoal Works

03 March 2005, 10:38 AM
Ok I need some help on this, I went ahead and fully rendered a charcoal work, now I'm having some problems coloring and smoothing it. Does anyone know a tutorial on how to do this? I found a couple of them (like the metacreation canhead one) but the tutorial wasn't that detailed for my thick skull to fully understand. I'm still experimenting with this technique at this point. Anyone lend me a hand or two? Thanks :)

You want to blend the colors like you use to when painting "analog"?

Use the healing brush (PS 7 or CS).
Enable use pattern.
Before create a 200x200px blank white file.
Goto Edit- define it as pattern.
And chosse this one in the healing brush pattern options.

I feel at home with this technique.
