03 March 2005, 09:09 PM
hahah thats excellent i'll definately be watching this thread.

03 March 2005, 09:10 PM (

i try to find the design for the kid.

03 March 2005, 09:14 PM (

i try to find the design for the kid.

03 March 2005, 09:16 PM
the kid is looking great!

and the monster is even better!!

i can't think of anything u cud change at least point.

03 March 2005, 12:10 AM
VEry nice.. But im thinking of more inocence looking kid here.. So the contrast between the creature and the kid will be more dramatic. Some geek or just a 5 year old "i dont know how to count to 5" will suit well i think. I cant wait to see ur further process :) good luck!

03 March 2005, 12:12 AM
That's a great rock-chewing monster!! Please keep him :)

03 March 2005, 01:55 AM
hello, Choptider.

Good to see you on this challenge. Your sketches are very cool, I like the monster and the kid.
I will watch this thread.
Good luck and have fun,

03 March 2005, 01:59 AM
Hey!!The kid looks great and the monster seems to really go the right way there!!!
Indeed,a bit like Ninja ,maybe you could play some more with the dramatic feeling in your future pic.
Great stuff,I'll be back!

03 March 2005, 05:01 PM
Good beginning, to exploit the force controlled by the weakness is a
topic which functions well, Good luck for the continuation.

@ + my friend

03 March 2005, 05:03 PM
nice idea :) a master/servant relationship built up through love and friendship (i guess), something i havn't seen all that much around :D
i'll be watching you! :D

03 March 2005, 01:51 AM (

thank for support, here i try to find a good head for the monster.

03 March 2005, 01:54 AM (

i am not happy with this research.
i hope the inspiration will come next time.

03 March 2005, 01:59 AM
NIce. I think the design on the kid is excellent. Good start!

03 March 2005, 03:26 AM
your sketches are so fun to look at - simple, accurate, and lots of life. I'd like to see some of the adventures this kid and his 'beast' friend have.

03 March 2005, 09:30 PM (

i try to know how old the kid could have?
and what he will wear!

03 March 2005, 09:38 PM
NinjaASSN and OKMER: that is what i try to do, make a good looking kids.

Wussie and pixemo: exactly what i'm thinking.

thanks all of you, i am whatching all of your work guys!

03 March 2005, 11:18 AM
choptider nice to see you again... first of all good luck for the contest...

Wonderful sketches, I'm impressed about the expressions and dynamics :applause: really beautiful. Bravo.

03 March 2005, 06:18 PM
yeh ur expression are top notch ,keep at it!

03 March 2005, 10:34 PM (

this is how i see the 2 characters, i meen in this order in the page...
i probably put some others characters on the background!
the monster is not finished yet, and i am not sure about the cloth of the kid,
but i like the attitude of him!

03 March 2005, 07:02 AM
Hi my friend,
Super cool, I like, the design of the watch is
good, right can be some point of anatomy to be improved. It as seems
to to me by its attitude, as it not easily controllable, is not
submitted enough to the boy,
I think that if you adds others watches
behind its will be a great image,
Good luck for the continuation.

03 March 2005, 07:58 AM
Looks really great! The clothes in the kid I think r fine, but I would still do some work on his face expression. More inocent but still a bit angry coz of noise that monster is doing. But u r pretty close in my opinion already :) About the composition, I would move both of characters more to the right, so they wouldnt be so much at the edge of the pic they r moving to. They need more space in that direction. But other than that, a great pic!

03 March 2005, 08:53 AM
i like the look of your drawing, a little similar to walt disney!

03 March 2005, 04:48 PM
NOOB!,jddog:thanks for encougaging!

Tranchefeux:i know what you meen, and i work hard on that particular point!
the point of view and the servitude of the monster.

exactly what i want to do.
but kids don't have lot of keys for the expressions, like wrinkles on the face, so it is more difficults for me to make comprehenssive expressions.

mannix8:thank's, but i try to increas the distance with disney!

03 March 2005, 04:49 PM (

this is helping what you tell me!

03 March 2005, 08:31 PM
Terrific sketches; the boy especially is a great design. However, it's a bit unclear why the boy is telling the monster to be quite (judging from the setting); are they up during the middle of night to get cookies? :D

03 March 2005, 02:08 AM
very good idear!!
i will search idea on that!!

03 March 2005, 02:23 AM
This is a really fun image. The boy is coming along great. Stylistically, the boy and the monster don't seem to fit together yet. I would like to see the composition flipped horizontal just to see if the action works better left to right. Just some thoughts. I'm going to enjoy watching the progression on this. Good job.

03 March 2005, 05:36 AM
lol, nice concept and cool character. ~cheers~

03 March 2005, 06:41 AM
hey I like what you have got going here! Good work, good luck!

03 March 2005, 12:26 AM (

here a new research, of the 2 people.

03 March 2005, 11:59 AM
Hi Jérémy,

Another direction to exploit framing can quickly become
dynamic I think with this concept, for the watch I preferred the other
which was better by its installation and its design on lighting it is
surely a good obscure direction of light. go, go for the continuation.

Euh! tu viens dessiner dimanche?

03 March 2005, 03:06 PM
its looking gud man!!

04 April 2005, 11:52 AM
Oh Jérém... great to see you here... the latest sketch, with this big monster is very nice... but I prefer the previous one... I love more the framing... the contrats between the monster and the child, also the sensitive part... ça décoiffe mon gars, à bientôt

04 April 2005, 11:00 PM
Very cool entry, like it a lot! i agree with laurent, the previous monster somehow gave a great contrast to the kid cuz it looke more powerfull. keep it u and how they say: aller aller aller!!

04 April 2005, 07:57 AM
Hey, very funny concept! I like it a lot.

I agree with the others, the last framing looks a bit too cramped. But I like the bulkier, rounder design of the last monster. Except for the glowing bits, it looks like they draw too much attention.
Maybe an idea, but I'd make the kid look more confident (chin up, grin). He's having this huge monster as his pal, nobody can touch him! :)

04 April 2005, 08:04 AM
Very good work. Keep up...
Good luck to you ^^

04 April 2005, 09:48 AM

04 April 2005, 10:58 AM
lol,ok we will be waiting!

04 April 2005, 03:06 PM
Dommage, ça me plaisait bien... I'm must wait now your next idea... :bounce:

04 April 2005, 03:12 PM
You rightly never not to hesitate, to remake if you is not
completely satisfied, being without pity with is to even go further,
Go, go.
@ +++ :cool:

04 April 2005, 12:14 AM (

this is a crossover of domination,
angels- command devils girls.
devil- slaved devils girls.
angels scare of devil.

only one problem!!!!

04 April 2005, 12:27 AM
Basically -- me likes. You made great facial expressions on that kid. Good luck in the challenge. :)

04 April 2005, 08:50 AM
Vous partez sur autre chose la.....vous voulez vraiment gagner...C'est classe cette idée d'ange et de démon....

04 April 2005, 12:16 PM
Hi, your concept is much more ambitious perhaps than the precedent,
good, use the gold rule for your framing which will have more
dynamics, Go, go for the continuation
@ + + +

04 April 2005, 02:27 PM
Hey buddy-dude,

Hell, another one using devil and angels in his scene:twisted: . This is no safe business anymore... What are the judges gonna say when they see all these wings:D ? hehe;)

Nevermind dude, I wish you the best and I love your concept. Trés jolie, trés beau!

peace, pete

04 April 2005, 02:37 PM
 last concept rocks really

04 April 2005, 09:13 PM
NOOB!: i know i watch you to!

Lemog:me to ,i will finish it for me, it is a long story for me (this drawing)

Tranchefeux:i understand what you meen! thanks

Aidenn:thanks ,i love this tiny kid to.

MeYsS:to win? a bit..not to much.

Tranchefeux:and sometimes not.

The Peteboy:yes ,i watch your drawing to,hope we go for the goal with this!

04 April 2005, 09:20 PM (

this is the master devil, he will be like that to the end...
with scares probably!!?

04 April 2005, 02:07 AM (

here my test for the clouds.

04 April 2005, 02:09 AM (

how i will put the clouds???

04 April 2005, 02:13 AM (

i try to make beautiful clouds, like in the LOGO of Columbia pictures with the girl.
there is lovely clouds on the background orange and bleue.

04 April 2005, 04:02 AM
i really like the second try with clouds. when finished, im sure your work will be beautiful.

04 April 2005, 11:15 AM
what's up dude,

Hey, how did i miss your thread. Oh man, i missed out on some cool postings.
Anyway, the sketches are great. Love the characters and the idea. The clouds are looking really nice. I like your process of working. Oh and i dig the 2nd choice of clouds too.

04 April 2005, 11:36 AM
Wow ça arrache ! Excellent character designs, comp, subject !
I'll keep an eye on your work. :bounce:

04 April 2005, 11:37 AM
Jérémy congratulations, all that left, you with gone up very well
levels, go, go, for the continuation.

04 April 2005, 12:15 PM
Amazing work on these clouds Jérém... and I know how it's difficult... magnifique... c'est de la balle :scream:

04 April 2005, 12:49 AM
minduinho:me to, and thank for telling it, that reasure my opinion.

Arc80:thanks to you to.

spacesnail:your work to!

Tranchefeux:i hope to finish in time, and kick your little a....

Lemog:not like the picture in my head, but i'm working for it, afterburner could had help me if i were in 3D...

04 April 2005, 12:52 AM (

i now know how to put some human characters!
i replace the devils girls by humans womans.

04 April 2005, 02:46 AM

The skin color is looking good, the design of the master devil looks very interesting.
Can't wait to see the color version of him.

04 April 2005, 03:39 AM
Good work so far... Yeah, clouds are really hard. If you didn't see it, check out Steve Newport's thread from the last Challenge, the Grand Space opera. He was doing a piece of predominantly clouds and there were a lot of great tips in there on doing them well.

I really like the tones on the human skin so far. It's a good thig you decided to make them human, given the rules (even though devil women would have been cool!)

The devil reminds me a lot of the Diablo character from the video games, 'though he'll come off as less so if he's not bright red! :-)

Best of luck!

04 April 2005, 01:45 AM
thank, to bad you don't post anything yet!

i saw what Steve Newport did for the past challenge, and he is good for clouds, and it seems that he will do some clouds again for this challenge .

i thought to, that the devils girls look more cool for the drawing, but i have to follow the rules...

and for the last sentence you put, i don(t really anderstand it!
you meen ,because the devil is out from hell, he will not be red has usual; that is right?

04 April 2005, 11:37 PM (

i put a tear i her eye.

04 April 2005, 11:40 PM (

for the challenge, they said they want some expression on the faces of the characters!
i try to do so....

04 April 2005, 01:16 AM (

i wanted to put white cloth for the angels, but i think silk is more appropriate (because they are not good!) and noble cloth make more superficial.

04 April 2005, 01:22 AM (

the hardess stuff i try to do in my life!
i am mad at this.

so hard!
so HARD.

04 April 2005, 03:53 PM
hehe very cool .... ur skin color tones are very nice ...its fun to watch ur progress. Im looking forward to ur next update :scream::applause::drool:

04 April 2005, 09:26 PM
I haven't been visiting your thread for a while !
Nice progression. The idea of compiling sequences is very good. Would you mind if I do the same in my own thread ?

Keep going on, I can't wait to see the whole finished picture

04 April 2005, 02:36 AM

even if i don't put reply to your thread, i visit it every 2 day!
and what a surprise, you ask me to do the same....
go ahead, the change between image are some tiny, it's more easy when pictures are side to side.
can't wait to see what you will show!:D

04 April 2005, 02:38 AM (

the logo of columbia is so far away from me....i kick ass, i don't even think i can do such a thing like that.

04 April 2005, 12:52 PM
Very cool dude. The rendering on the people are looking great and i think your clouds are awesom. I'm waiting for that creature to be in colour, hehe. I'll be checking back.

04 April 2005, 01:56 PM

but there need for nudity.

04 April 2005, 09:37 PM
nice sketching skills, cant wait to see ur progress...keep it up.

04 April 2005, 09:55 PM
Your people are really good, the perspective, form, everything. I quite like the devil too, he's shaping up nicely and the pose is great.

But your clouds... they need some work. To be honest I could try and explain where you need to concentrate your efforts but I'm pretty crap at explaining myself and I fear you'd be no better off. Instead, all I advise is that you go to or somewhere similar, search for "clouds", and examine photo after photo after photo. I appreciate you may not want ultra-real clouds (after all, realistic clouds are pretty boring! :) ) but even fantasy clouds need to adhere to a basic, er, cloudyness. I know your clouds aren't finished, but I think that unless you rework them, adding more detail isn't going to help.

04 April 2005, 07:22 AM
Hello Jeremy

about the clouds : maybe you can try working with multiple layers ?
Try again, don't give up  You've got engouh time before the challenge ends.

04 April 2005, 11:59 AM
it's coming up really great! The perspective is really good and the anatomy!

The sky looks good too! Very bright sunlight!
Maybe still a bit blurry.

Great work dude!

04 April 2005, 01:24 PM
heh heh heh, nothing like a bit of slavery with women... I love your style of anatomy, it's not quite realism, but neither is it cartoonesque. Gorgeous job with the ol' cumulo nimbus, they will look great when they're done, and I love the way you've put the movement of the devil's arms in, thats a really nice touch. Your perspective is very impressive, especially on the woman on the right. I love the guy's expression, and the casual nonchalant way he's resting his foot on the woman, it's so much more subtle than high and might lord posing, if that makes any sense!

The colouring is coming on great, I love the lighting and skintones on the females, can't wait to see how everything works together.

04 April 2005, 09:26 AM
thanks, iwas thinking the same at the start, but now i'm questionning myself...

thanks, and about the nudity;i want to show the angels who taste the forbidden flesh of
Human, and if i put cloth on her, they look like whore, or they look like Venus (and not
like human of anytimes as actually!)
that is why i put her in this way, so they'll be atemporal.

Baron Impossible:
thanks, and thanks to be honest!
i saw your clouds on your website and in your thread, and i will not have the times to did
it this way at all!! but still you should make a tutorial to show how to do so.

you kill me when you say that...
i work in multi layer to do that, and i that is new stuff for me, to do clouds.

yes, i thought to put some ray of the sun, throw clouds...

Thanks, to be so expressive, and yes there is a sense to all that!
i try to explain it fwe line above, to "NOOB!".

04 April 2005, 11:23 AM
Personally... I really like your work and clouds too... :wip:

04 April 2005, 06:37 PM
Your clouds are interesting but a little too near you world to Bisounours, that of a demon attention, On the other hand the ray of light very is successful, which techniques.

04 April 2005, 07:47 PM
Hi Jeremy
Quote : " you kill me when you say that..." I hope you'll raise from the dead.
Désolé si je t'ai vexé. J'avoue que j'ai le même souci avec les nuages !!! :banghead:

Try again, don't give :arteest: (misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=0#)

04 April 2005, 11:52 PM
Thanks, i hope so!!me too , a bit...

OK!! you're going on troubles, and the Bisounours clouds are here to figure out the world of angels!
thank's for the compliment, i did the halo with an other soft.

no, no, but this is my first cloud of my life, so i made them with lot of time, and i be faster and faster now!!
you need to be kick in the back to go throw difficultys. thank for following my thread, by the way...
and still you don't put multi picture has you ask before.

04 April 2005, 11:54 PM
Nice start. Since the clouds are so colorful, what color is that beast guy going to be?

04 April 2005, 11:54 PM (

this is few stuffs i was thinking of!

(sorry, it is in french!! because i think in french when i draw!)

04 April 2005, 12:05 AM (

this week-end my friend TRANCHEFEUX show me how to do good clouds!
and he show me all this secrets stuffs in photoshop with brushs with little change; and i THANKING him a lot for that, even if i doesn't have yet his texture and dexterity...

04 April 2005, 12:07 AM
you ask the best question for my thread!
and i don't know yet the answer....

04 April 2005, 06:20 AM
Good I stop teasing you, but you it is that I am of a player spirit . To go, go, maintaining on your painting.

04 April 2005, 06:43 AM
Marvellous clouds Jérém... and nice paper research... j'aime bien "ticket de métro ou crête iroquois" !! mort de rire :D I'm waiting impatiently the next update :bounce:

04 April 2005, 07:34 AM
j'aime bien "ticket de métro ou crête iroquois" !!

whahaha... moi aussi ! mort de rire :D !

04 April 2005, 08:35 PM
The continuation, the continuation, which prepares you for the demon, one waits
@ +

04 April 2005, 12:40 AM (

i think this head is more bad and powerfull, fro the bad angel!

04 April 2005, 12:43 AM (

here is how i see the beast devil, and i had to put more CONTRAST in the clouds.
it seems to much dark, the clouds have to feed back some shiness on him?!!

04 April 2005, 03:27 AM
Omg our ideas are almost the same , good job so far...I suggest going with the classic angel cloth, the warrior/robot angel thing just doesnt seem to fit because the background is just clouds..unless u had some sign of civilation that can create that armor they are wearing it might look wierd...Anyway good job so far, it looks nice, maybe make it darker, and more dramatic in the background like with lightning or something. But keep up the good coloring, are you planning on coloring over line art or staying under it?

04 April 2005, 05:09 AM
I love that bend in the beast's torso, so sexy, I love drawing characters like that......

04 April 2005, 11:15 AM
GREAT WORK ON THE CLOUDS..i love them. hmmm if thats the devil, why are the angels flleing from him, they should be stronger..cuz, the devil was an angel also, so that would make them even.. well...maybe im wrong cuz i didnt have the time to read ur story..sorry.. but i love ur work it looks great!:)

04 April 2005, 11:29 AM
Tht's look very good! Evil look very nice! you should perhaps add some swirl on top fog..In order to show evil's force ..:)

04 April 2005, 12:44 PM
been watching your work here for a while and may i say that this pic is my favourite! your devil is out of this world!! u rock:buttrock:

04 April 2005, 02:45 PM
Haven't seen this thread before for some wierd reason.. but this totally rocks! I think you should try to fix the devil-s left hand however, it doesn't read that good. Perhaps you should redraw his thumb, as it is now it seems like 5 equal fingers?

Keep it up!

04 April 2005, 03:10 PM
The devil is looking really good! The torso muscles and that soft blue underlighting are superb! On the close-up of his face, did you mean for it to be so speckly? If you were shooting for that effect, sort of a mottled skin texture, cool. If you weren't shooting for it, you can limit it in Photoshop by going into an individual brush's settings and decreasing the 'Spacing' setting down to the lowest possible setting. This happens to me all the time and I don't like the effect, but if you already knew this then just never mind me! :-)

Anyhow, looking nice! And I agree with cha0tic1, it's strangely sexy. Keep going, and good luck!

04 April 2005, 03:14 PM
Wow, these are great! I really like your last update. The depth and everything is just perfect. I have one suggestion for you. The devil like creature is immersed in white clouds, I think if you were to make the clouds closer around him black or dark like smoke clouds and then have the clouds fade out into white clouds would really make him evil in the sense. Just a suggestion. BUt great work so far keep it up :)

04 April 2005, 03:49 PM
Mouarf, really impressive. I really like the flying characters design.
I'm gonna follow that thread, that's for sure !!

04 April 2005, 09:19 PM
Ah, well you at semi time, but the result is sympathetic, I believe to see that you with semi my some pipe with profit for texture and traces brushes, me I like, good that it is for the compliments.
Maintaining on the color of the demon, I find it a little low in nuance enriched there add nuances, releases you, there you make the shy person and gives more contrast, it is necessary to feel the blood which bubbles.

Maintaining the continuation tick-tock tick-tock.
@ + I will lie down.

Bon @ + je vais me coucher.

04 April 2005, 06:52 AM
Hi jeremy........just coming by to drop off two of these.............  .....very well done...nice colors and design.......i will be sure to see more as you advance.....glad I found your entry......Keep it coming.....Bonne chance.......looking forward to more.....:arteest:

04 April 2005, 01:15 PM
Hi Jeremy! I havent seen your image till now. Great work in those clouds. Looks pretty realistic. Also, the same for the master anathomy. Excellent work. NowI just want to know how the little people will look like. Good luck buddy!

04 April 2005, 01:48 PM
You are doing an excellent work Jérém... really... you're very wood in 2d... as you know, clouds are now excellent... I'm a bit jalous about them... a bit hard for me...

I agree totally with Eric, when he said that the master need more contrast... you work only in the same tones... we don't feel the sun and sky lights... there's a lot of shape for the clouds and him appear a bit flat... tu maîtrises... mais j'ai l'impression qu'il te manque l'impulsion... The master seem very crazy... then, give crazyness to your painting... let's play you instinct

And now, don't sleep my friend... you must continue to work on it :bounce:

04 April 2005, 02:49 PM
Those clouds are fantastic!! Thumbs up!

04 April 2005, 08:20 PM
some girl at school talled me about this expression!!

same reaction as me.

the fight is stated!

I know, i follow your thread, and about the robots,it is not that!
i wanted to put some warrior with armor, and other angels with classic cloths.
and this is a good idea, the dark side, i will put it in the left down side of the

and about the line art, i stay a bit under, and i put the light over, to hide the

line! it is a double work!

exactly what i want, a bit sex in the posture of the devil, give him some skills

and expression we don't see lote of time in picture.

YES, YES, you are right, but the devil had the benediction of God to do so, because

some angels had sex with Human, so he can take then directly from paradise;
even if some angels don't know all the story, and try to defend them friends!
i Make the Devil bigger, because, the dark side is ruled by semblance, the out side

, so they are bigger for the same power.

Fiolka Alexandre:
Yes , this is a good idea, and i will put some swirl down-left of the picture.

thanks, and you're not the first to tell me that, som eof my friends talled me to
change it!
i will do it at the end ,(but i love it because i do it without example)( that is

probably why, it sucks).

thanks for this advice, but i only work in photoshop for the clouds, and the

and i like this tinny speck effect, and if i do soft painting, i have to put more

details!(that i can't do).

that is idea of some people now, and i know i had to do so!!!
good idea!

thanks, lote.

i'm going to kick your ass some time!

thanks, i will show it!

ok!!OK...i put some of the crazyness i got, but i am skare to do to much, and

i 'll try.

04 April 2005, 08:23 PM (

i try some stuff!!
not final, but just to see...

04 April 2005, 08:55 PM
For me, your test of burn effect at right is not too much... but only a bit uniforme... and then, we don't feel the radiation... mmmh... I said that... but it's not very easy to realize... and I can't help for the methodology  but I have much confiance in you

04 April 2005, 12:17 PM
Hi, Jérémy.
it is better with the colors on the horns of the daemon,
but I would see still more contrast, lights and shades because you
will gain in powers on the body and continuous to enrich the colors,
good I the next station waits, so not I unload at home with my stylet :wip: ,
go, go for the continuation
@ +

04 April 2005, 10:17 PM
ok for the effects, i let them!
and if you have some example for the radiation, i'll be pleased to see that!

you know that my screen computer is not calibrated, so i am a bit scare about touching the contrast and loose all my work.., i will change my contrast at the end.

04 April 2005, 10:19 PM (

clic on the images to enlarge it!

i put more effects and show how i will change the left thumb.

04 April 2005, 05:43 AM
J'en perds mon anglais... et j'ai "enlarge it"... foreground is really the cerise on the gateau... I'm sure now I will vote for you...
J'te laisse bosser tranquillou...
Just one question, what is your work size for this picture ?

04 April 2005, 06:26 AM
exquisite, love the new update the spectrum has been multiplied by 1000....beautiful...more

05 May 2005, 01:02 AM
i think the background is a bit empty, and i will put other angels.
and my image size is 4100x5100.

thanks, you talk about the horns spectrum?

05 May 2005, 04:33 PM (

the symbolic ,like in the old painter of masters italian, and i don't show it but there is always 3 heads crossing the picture.
i also tell the scale of master and servant.

05 May 2005, 10:34 PM
Que de changements depuis la dernière fois !!! Sorry I'm lazy to write in english

05 May 2005, 03:00 AM
yes, me to!
and about the juewels of family, i will go for the sumo stuff, that is better for this challenge!
i watch what your doing.

05 May 2005, 03:04 AM (

i show the 100% scale of my picture, so you see how bad i am in painting for this one.
and the angel on the down-left of the picture is NOT in the lightning, the storm is miles away from the first characters.

05 May 2005, 03:59 AM
and about the juewels of family, i will go for the sumo stuff, that is better for this challenge!

Hahahahahah

Seriously, thanks for close up... very nice details for me... (and it's not bad as you say :argh: )

05 May 2005, 06:18 AM
Hi, jérémy, good advanced on your painting, and the details its
sympathetic and the small clouds of the bottom adds depth, now I want
to see the painting of the girls, because the time is short. go, go
for the continuation.
@++ :cool:

05 May 2005, 06:29 PM
excellent image!

05 May 2005, 02:20 AM
you're back!!

05 May 2005, 02:22 AM (

i try the contrast in the final image, tell me if on your screen it is better looking??

05 May 2005, 03:58 AM
Perfect on my screen Jérém... Perfecto

05 May 2005, 09:57 AM
Awesome image, the only thing that that i can crit is that the devils face is a lost in the reds, maybe highlight the edge of the face a bit to make it stand out more, but other than that wicked, keep the updates comingGood luck

05 May 2005, 12:56 PM
Your image is fantastic. I love it. On my screen it looks like the colors are washed out on the devil. Specifically the face, abs, and around the bicep and tricep area on the right more so than the left. The figure on the shoulders of the devil is also sort of lost. This may be because of the colors on the devil. The girl in the foreground on her knees is great. The hair may be a bit dark around the ears. The image you posted 2 back looked great on my screen, the colors seemed to work. I am viewing this on my PC, not my Mac. I am sure that with the lighter screen it would be different. It is a great image. I love your work. Look forward to seeing the final.

05 May 2005, 01:16 PM
Great xork!! felicitation:thumbsup: ..Just one thing..perhaps the clouds are too contrasted..maybe you should desaturate them..try and post the result ..

Good luck

05 May 2005, 04:51 PM
tell me if on your screen it is better looking??

On this particular PC monitor, the older version read a lot more clearly. This one is too dark, and the devil is really hard to read! But like jcrawfor_us said, I'm sure that it would be easier to read on my lighter Mac monitor. I too have been having trouble splitting the difference on my entry. Good luck!

05 May 2005, 04:59 PM
Wow.. way to go on the action in this piece! Everything is full of movement and emotion! I love the lighting effects you've put into this since I last looked, my absolute fave bit is that patch of cloud below the demon where the really bright highlight goes into shadow, The characters are really coming to life now, too, the women looked great, I can tell you obviously enjoyed yourself drawing them! Same with the demon, he's very impressive, and I still love the way the clouds form around him, giving the impression of a great upsweep of wind. Fantastique!

05 May 2005, 06:01 PM
Excellent work. Good idea.

05 May 2005, 02:16 AM
i hope so, you work on calibrate screen!

you are right , and i try to show it more.

yes, i see it, but one of my friend had a calibrate screen and tell me how to change the luminosity of my screen to see right!
But no one had the same screen, so every one see something different.
and i change a bit the devil, so yousee better the head.

Fiolka Alexandre:
ok, i will try, but remember i try to do clouds like Columbia picture.

i know, i said just up here!

thanks, and yes i enjoy, this is why i change subject few after the begining of the contest.

05 May 2005, 02:20 AM (

-i change the thumb.
-i change the color back of the head devil.
-i change place of the angels.
-i change the storm.
-try to change the luminosity to feet to a good looking image, and please tell me what is the best,
for my 80 of LUMINOSITY.

05 May 2005, 08:53 PM

05 May 2005, 03:41 AM
moi je dis que c'est vraiment du très très bon... fantastic work Jérém... and the devil i perfect now... always beautiful for the eyes... and so powerfull... great

05 May 2005, 07:36 AM
Hi Jérémy, the end is close and to play well for your painting, but
why you to remove time of contrast in particular on the daemon, I it
is that you with desired bringing depth, but you even much,
that becomes too insipid.

Tu regarde tes mails je t'envois un truc.

05 May 2005, 07:23 PM (

this is it:
-i wet a bit the devil.
-i change the color of the devil.
-put ray of the sun on angels.
-change the position of the angels.
-put fire effect in the eyes of the devil.
-put warm effect on the horn.
-i think that is all folks!

05 May 2005, 11:06 AM
I liked the dark version of the devil before a bit more, and I think that the clouds could have a bit more defined shapes or at least details, but that is just my opinion and very subjective. Overall its a great pic and congratulations on finishing it! I'll save this one in my private collection of best of this challenge :) it deserves it!

05 May 2005, 03:40 PM

06 June 2005, 11:09 PM
thanks, i know ,i think the same for the clouds, but
they are my first clouds of my life, and i try details
on the top left but the rest of the picture is not that
much details, and everybody tell me about my last devil
who are much better with much contrast.
i guess i pick the wrong one for my final choice!

thanks, you to!
