Hi there Hamid........Time for more action and fun......Nice to see you back,it'll be fun,and I wish you lots of luck.....now get those creative juices flowing.....see you as you progress......:arteest:

03-22-2005, 10:08 PM
Hi Hamid

So its time again...nice to see you in here. I actually havent decided yet, if I should join or not. Im very busy right now. But if I join this, it will be in 2D section. I dont need the same amount of time when drawing, as I do when creating 3D stuff. And time is just not on my side at the moment.

Btw, got your pm with the email, but havent reacted. Sorry for that, been a little lazy. Ill send you my drawing as promised. No progress on it since I told you about it. Needed to model a character for an application, which took a week of my time(yeah, I know, you would have done it in an evening.....damn zbrush....or damn your talent, your choise;)). Ill send you a picture of that as well. Ill send it all right away...

Ill follow your progress closely, I might even steal your thread as in the gso challenge....:)

03-23-2005, 08:35 PM
hi u guys.....once again nice to see! this comp is big since ive seen some of elite cg bros participating here:eek: !...a tone of information no doubt.

hehehe and still no ideas  ! hmm actually i have an idea

well there is this guy and his hands are raised a little and on each hand there is a face staring back at him (two sides good and evil  ) comanding him to stop the time ( apprently the master of them faces) good: wants time stopped so the servant can do good deeds forever without time interfering and the evil wants time stopped so the servant can do evil deeds.... the servant is torn between who to choose his master(good or evil) for and how to stop there master the time and also the servant does not want to live forever.....does it make any sense:shrug: !

here is my concept sketch for the intial idea i have!

03-24-2005, 01:43 PM
wow! wonderful sketch my friend! This gonna be a master piece:twisted: I can't wait to see it in 3d

03-24-2005, 04:28 PM
Good look sketch and I'm sure it will be better in 3d.
Good luck :)

03-24-2005, 07:43 PM
thanks guys.... now wondering how to go about modeling it ..... a bit complicated :D.

03-24-2005, 07:52 PM
wow man! nice idea! i like the perspective you have used on it.
good luck! ill folow your posts.

03-24-2005, 08:08 PM
Yeah, looks good my friend. How will you make it obvious, which character is the good one, and which is the bad?...Have you thought about that?....cause right now, they look pretty much the same...

Good luck...

03-24-2005, 08:20 PM
hi Kragh ...well thats the mystery of it...who can say that there are an actual good and evil....maybe its a figment of imagination...they both maybe good i on there own perspective or evil! ;)

thanks ezc3 ur most welcome

03-24-2005, 08:40 PM

nice to see you back in... and a creepy cool start sketch...

03-24-2005, 09:21 PM
hmm, this is very interesting indeed. Not quite sure I understand the whole master and servant angle of this yet. Im thinking the "good and evil" things are the master of the guy.. the guy being the servant of course.. hmm

yes definatly will have to watch this for progression, and some more explanation ;)

great concept sketch man :)

03-24-2005, 11:32 PM
hheheh geta-ve i think u kinda got it;) .... hehe as i go along ill come up with a more pausible storyline to it...

who knows at the end the guy might be the master and the things his servants of good and evil ;) !

hi theuni... thanks for the creepy coment  !

03-24-2005, 11:35 PM
Hi hamid........very nice concept.....I really like this.....one of the most unique and holds lots of potential........i think this will be great to see come into the 3D World......I'll be watching as you do so.....See you as you progress....and again very nice idea.....:arteest:

03-25-2005, 02:58 AM
Hey Hamid ,
Looks interesting , is this about mastering internal conflict and not becoming a servant to them. Good luck with the challenge.

03-25-2005, 03:46 AM
This one defintely is a little deep, Good luck with this  Subscribing cause I just gotta see the process.

03-25-2005, 03:49 AM
WOW...love the sketch it gives me the feeling of "constantine" + "resident evil" feel to me...creepy man. GOODLUCK with the modeling.

03-25-2005, 05:38 AM

03-26-2005, 07:40 PM

Go have fun, make those little dots and lines work for you.

03-26-2005, 11:56 PM
ahhh, thats the way to do it...still too early to crit anything...and also too early for jawdropings. But you are on the path of succes, I can see it clearly....can see some nice references being used, mainly on the thighs and the back....nice.

See u soon

03-27-2005, 07:09 PM

03-29-2005, 09:42 PM
Looks good dude :) zb can't compete with good old "box start" :D Well actually I'm reading some tutorials for zb now but It seems like a different world after 3DS...but I have to admit that zbstuff looks brilliant and modelling etc seems so easy.

About your concept: it is scary...in a good way :) (After all I just watched Constantine and this reminds me of it). hope to see some kick ass models soon so keep them coming ;)

03-29-2005, 09:56 PM
Ok, the story itself sounds like a challenge to illustrate. But if you can pull it off then bravo. Look forward to seeing more.

03-30-2005, 06:06 AM
*I really like the concept, it is very different from others. That is always a good starting point! Kick some poly-ass!:buttrock:

03-30-2005, 09:05 AM
dont you dare quit on us  Lets see what you've done in ol ZB

03-30-2005, 03:19 PM

03-31-2005, 07:58 PM
Closeups!!!...I cant see those nice little details. Well, Ill ask you on msn in a minute, I want them...:)

Looking mighty great, Hamid. Really...seems like you are are world ahead of my knowledge in zb right now....but Ill get ya, I know...:)

So......is it worth the effort? I mean, I have strugled to learn what I know....then some smartasses, who think they know what theyre doing...and tells me, that I should paint 3D instead of boxmodelling out smooth organic forms???...who do they think they are?...Do they really expect me to relearn everything I know?...ha!...ok, I will then:shrug:

hi...just a little detailed one...just a test...heheh learning zb!! :)

03-31-2005, 08:10 PM
Hi there my friend, it looks great, but I agree that some close ups would do good to us:)

03-31-2005, 08:12 PM

I was writing my previous post while you gave some close ups:) great work!

03-31-2005, 08:32 PM

Kragh : arturro , ...heheh wanna some more closeups...

Geta-Ve : heheh no quiting just learning....:arteest:
ElFuego:Brent3D:jarvetu:.... thanks for the support! !

04-01-2005, 12:33 AM
Making great progress there Hamid. Zbrush is a fantastic addition to any 3D artists toolbox. Once you get the hang of it...power... I know its a WIP, so I will point out a few rough spots you might wanna hit. Try rounding out the Quads and enlarging the rib-cage just a bit. Anyway, keep at it my friend this is coming out well.

04-01-2005, 06:48 AM
zb is great :) like the model. Once you start sculpting it's amazing to see the form take shape. The muscles, tendons are looking good. The bicep looks like it connects under the armpit instead of to the shoulder joint. Keep up the sculpting!

Zlatan B.
04-01-2005, 07:17 AM
Good job so far, I can't wait to see the face modeled!

About ereitz's post.

I checked some of my anatomy books, biceps does connect to shoulder joint but it should look like it is connected under the armpit because deltoid and chest muscles are on top of it.

my stuff:

04-01-2005, 09:34 AM
thanks guys for the comments and crits..there are more mistakes!;) ....right now the guy is looking as if he is on too much steroids!:) ...not the look i want to achieve here though!...will tone down everything and add some fat here and there!...maybe i'll discard and make a new model:) !

04-01-2005, 01:19 PM
That's some helluva detail man...Looking good cant wait until he is all finished. Keep it going!!

04-01-2005, 01:22 PM
hey dude, nice work so far, but the top of the thighs look kindda strange to me, like the muscle's don't go up far enough !

04-01-2005, 01:24 PM
great brushwork man,RESPECT!!!:arteest:

04-02-2005, 07:40 PM
 Nice, and you show you know anatomy, but I think he have too big muscles.

04-03-2005, 12:54 PM
your zbrush work looks great. i've been trying to learn it myself, and i can't get my zsphere generated meshes to look anything like that. good work.

04-03-2005, 02:03 PM
Yes! This looks so fine and clear ... and yet another reason to start drooling for ZB.

Model look real good - he might perhaps be on steroids but the muscles are really well placed. Go on Hamid!

04-03-2005, 02:09 PM
Cool modeling with ZB!!! Is this really your first times with ZB?

Keep it up!

04-03-2005, 08:47 PM

hi..a rough detailing of the creature...some of the muscles are imaginary stuff..:)!...and the head will be replaced..doesnt look nice right?...;)

04-04-2005, 04:42 PM
Hi dear friend.

I adore your skills. I really like this latest work of yours, like the face, like the thin disgusting body. And I like the face, btw. Great work. Only thing, maybe work a little on the legs...they seem to be...not there....hehe, no just kidding, know the creatur is supposed to grow out of the human body. Anyways, looking forward to more zbrushing from you. Seems you are in your natural inviroment with this piece of software...

04-04-2005, 09:40 PM
Looking very nice Hamid........Zpheres....huh..... I will be going for zpheres from the start with my Rudes (servants) as well.........brute is getting a Max to vrush work flow.....

04-04-2005, 11:08 PM
Coming along nicely. This model has a great feeling to it. Nicely done. Good workflow. Keep it coming.

04-04-2005, 11:21 PM
Kragh: hi man..u compliment me too much :D!...thank you very much! :bounce:

Michael : hi nice work flow u have !...what im doing is rough out some forms in zb, bring the low res cage into maya attach heads and hands ( not exp enough in zb) ..then pose and export to zb then do the details again and then finaly output displacemnt and bumps and again bring it to maya!:)

Richard : thank you ! ur's too ! and ill keep em updating ;)!

04-05-2005, 09:19 AM
hey thats erally nice moldeing man... can really feel the flesh... keep up the good works mate

04-05-2005, 01:49 PM
Good start. Your idea sounds like a challenge though. But it's still interesting so keep up the good work. The imaginary muscles look fine just as long as they appear to serve some physical purpose. Keep going.

04-05-2005, 10:22 PM
Hey, good to see familiar face!

Your work so far looks very promising. I like the detail in your models, I know how hard it can be to make an organic character in 3d! The only thing I could say is that the face looks rather sepparate from the head - rather like a mask I suppose. But otherwise it's lookin' sweet!

Will be back soon to check on your progress, good luck!

04-05-2005, 10:34 PM
Brent_3D : thanks!:)..ill keep that in mind!...missed my mind completely!:argh:

M477 : thanks for dropping buy!...u know what u just given me a brilliant idea :lightbulb...the comment about face looks like a "mask" .... thanks for the idea although it wasnt ment like that ;) !

04-06-2005, 07:17 PM

another wip

04-29-2005, 04:33 PM
Hi dear friend

Looking great, those latest updates. Only problem, the wings on the deamon(they are meant to be wings, right?) have some trouble with the anatomy. Unless your aiming for a completely new approach, instead of the typically batwing look-a-like. Your call. Just have in mind, that batwings has the same anatomy as a normal human arm. Only proportions are different.

Anyways, you know Im a little busy:love: at the moment. But it will get better, I promise:)

Btw, does anyone knows what F_ _ _ F_ _ M_ _d means? Im having trouble with it...

05-03-2005, 10:04 PM
Those wings look very good, nice idea there. But... keep it going, don't quit - you can do it!

05-13-2005, 03:06 PM

05-14-2005, 06:18 PM
